How about Justin Griffith?

We know the WR's can't catch but with no pass rush it will be like catching pases from the ball machine.

Alge Crumpler perhaps?

I'll take anyone but Vick.

I wouldn't be that worried about the Falcons. We played a tough team last week and lost. The Falcons are not very good. Saints>>>>>>Falcons.

Crumpler will be one guy who looks good. He is a good TE.

We will not rush Vick----we will play containment on him to make him beat us by throwing. 50/50 chance he hurts us.

Jenkins, if he plays, is a good slot receiver. If he gets on a safety, watch out.

My problem with that is, I bought into, "we should not worry about the Saints" last week. The way our defense is playing I think we need to worry about everyone. The Falcons are not a bad team.

We may not rush Vick intentionally but how would anyone know the difference?

Jenkins could cause some problems. He has the ability to be their biggest threat.

If you bought into don't worry about the Saints, you're too much of a kneejerk homer to be able to view any game rationally anyway.

One thing the Falcons do have is some burners at WR, and Vick has an arm on him. Now, his WR's can't really catch and Vick is pretty inaccurate but even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while which worries me.

Other than that I think we match up very well. I think our style of defense neutralizes Vick's ability to run somewhat, and they're a team that likes to run the ball (when healthy), and we're a team that likes to stop the run.

it will be their 3rd string TE. he will come in at goalline situations and when the defense doubles alge he will be wide open, 3 times in a row

In the 2006 era NFL, I dont think you can necessarily take any team lightly. Each week is a battle and you dont know who's going to show up game day. Last year's late season swoon taught us that, I think.

Sorry, I forgot giving up just under a 1000 yards in the last 2 games is a reason to be confident.

Indeed. They haev won 2 in a row, and their offense is pathetic.

I know that is bad, but we are still in a position to win our division and I will take that any time.

Michael Vick will look like a decent passer this week.

Yep, thats what bothers me the most.

The other guy that makes me worry is justin griffith the HB/FB guy who will probably get a majority of the carries with dunn and norwood out (if they still are). That O-line should be pumped up and they wont try to run laterally which is what we are good at defending. Unless Ferguson plays well clogging up the middle, i think he could get decent chunks up the middle against us.
