Hunger time folks... something we can all relate to. Shout out to food! :D

Just wondering what everyone here digs more than anything? It can be cheap, expensive, common, rare, something that is only cooked a certain way in a specific restaurant, whatever floats your boat.... what food could you not live without? What are you favorite things to dine on?

This pic may gross some of you folks out, but here it goes:

I LOVE SUSHI!!!

I discovered it when I lived in Japan and I've been addicted ever since. I have visited every sushi bar in every city I've ever lived in. I grab the stuff at grocery stores, I've eaten it while deep sea fishing, I just love raw fish! It tastes better than being cooked. ~~shrug~~

Props to lobster, steak, ribs, cheeseburgers, baklava, sukiyaki, enchiladas, Ben & Jerry's, snow crab legs, and many more delicious items, but the one item that sticks out in my mind is sushi or sashimi.

Not a food but Coke.

I don't know about a food specific but the only thing I could think of would be home made chili.

Red Wine, does that count as a food ? LOL, actually when i go out to eat as long as i have a good red wine with my meal (or a good beer) i will eat almost anything on the menu. Just to relax with a friend and have good conversation is more important than what i am eating, i just dont get food cravings like most people, when im hungry i eat until i feel full and it doesnt matter what im eating as long as its not a lot of processed foods.

But since this is about favorite foods i will go with steak, sushini, or raw oysters with spicy cocktail sause or hot sauce.

I like hot and spicy food. I'm sure I should live without it, but I don't want to.

In no particular order, I like Cajun, Caribbean, Mexican, Indian, and some Thai.

Awww poor baby, I don't know what I'd do with out spicy food.

I guess for me, food is an experience. I'm willing to try almost anything, within my dietary restraints that is.

I totally agree. Pardon the pun, but life would be bland without spicy food. Speaking of cajun, crawfish etoufette is another item I forgot to mention. That stuff is heaven!

I love spicy food! I have NEVER found anything too hot for me. I'll admit though, some of that Thai food comes awfully close to the limit. LOL The only dish I ever ate in my travels that I almost couldn't finish because of its spice was a Thai seafood, rice, something dish I had in the Pacific. I throw tobasco sauce on just about anything, I'd probably rate spicy food above sushi, because I could never eat sushi without wasabi.

A good red wine is always important to me. Never been much of a fan of the chardonnays and white wines, but I love a good robust, thick red wine. Red wine goes with a lot more food than people think.

I'd have to agree with WG and strongly disagree on sushi. I'm not eating anything that hasn't been heated up or cooked by a flame.
