Dallas is more Inconsistant then us. They can be fireing in all different directions and be on the verge to win..

Or they can look like a high school football team.

So you really dont know what you can get from Dallas... But I am confident with the Giants that we will pull this one out.

ALL Divisional games are close games and give me an 18year old, a heart attack.

Starbury
The pressure will be huge, we need to be in Bledsoe's face all day long and our secondary needs to be on its game.

As far as our offense, we need a heavy dose of Tiki and Brandon Jacobs which opens up playaction.

And....put a muzzle on Theissman for the sake of the fans.

Mooronic
Please tell me you haven't seen any Giants games this year...

Dallas has the homefield advantage with speedy outside receivers who match up well against our secondary. Their TE should be open in the middle for the typical 15 yard gains we've been seeing all year. If Julious Jones gets going, that will open up the play action, which is no good for us.

Dallas has a great D, but the Giants should be able to score on them. Tiki needs another big day and Eli needs to protect the ball.

I think the key to the game comes down to Bledsoe. If the Giants can get to him, he will make mistakes. If he's allowed to sit in the pocket, he will make big plays.

GiantNut
We're coming off a a big win over a legitimate team. They beat the Texans down and are happy about it like they did something a pee wee team couldn't do. TO looked so ridiculous clowning in the end zone yesterday and personally I feel he's lost a step.

Early pressure on Bledsoe is key. After taking a couple licks, Bledsoe becomes rattled and is way less effective. If we get Bledsoe rattled and he can't get TO the ball, TO turns into a cancer on the sidelines bringing down his team's spirit.

On offense we need to hit them with the run early, especially stretch plays to wear down their D-line. This will also opens up play action as we can't get predictable.

If we do this we have a great chance of taking the game despite their home field advantage.

Can't really argue with anything those guys said...except their prediction of a Giants victory, of course. :D

Stretch plays play into the teeth of a 3-4-- linebacker pursuit. RB's are looking to shoot gaps but so are LBs.

This game comes down to:

1. Stopping Tiki both as a rusher and receiver.
2. Not letting Burress and Shockey take advantage of their height.

I see Henry on Burress with Watkins rolling to his side and Newman on Toomer. We should zone Shockey with Roy and a LB.

If Marcus, DeMarcus, and Canty want to prove their pedigree Monday is the day. No doubt about it.

We have one of the deepest D-line rotations in the league. Not going to "wear us down". Tiki is an obvious talent and we need to shut him down as our first priority.

Make Eli beat us.

I agree 100% with this. I've been patient thus far with our pass rush, having watched us stress containment against Tenn and Philly (I haven't watched yesterday's game yet), but the Giants game is one in which we need to unleash our rushers. I'd like to see some DB's get in the mix with some blitzes early to get them on their heels.

What is play-action. I have forgotten what it looks like?

Did we have 1 playaction pass yesterday?

Whoever, win the turnover battle should have a great advantage. Also, Dallas must avoid big plays on defence.

Everybody and his dog knows the book on Bledsoe.

Totally off base on TO though, held to one catch in the first half, scores 3 TD's in the second half.

GiantNut, thinks TO lost a step hmmm yeah they beat Atlanta, in their dome but Michael Vick isn't that great of a passer anyway but I bet the Giants seconday will think otherwise regarding TO.

The thing that concerns me is that of Osi Umenyoria, and Michael Strahan if we can stop them from edge rushing Bledsoe, then we should be capable of beating the Giants, not turning the ball over as an offense will be huge as well.

The Giants, have the weapons on offense to make this an exciting game but the key will be to get in Manning's face and force him to make mistakes with the football as history shows us he can be very inconsistent when he's pressured.

Tiki Barber, must be stopped at all cost he's not any of the Texans backs we held to 34 rushing yds yesterday he can and will hurt us on defense if we're not sharp with our techniques.

Playing mistake free football is the key to victory for Dallas, a week from tonight.

...to the game and the entire season.

When defences go after Bledsoe how can he adjust and make them pay for attempting to negate his passing contribution.

All other things being equal, Tiki, Shockey, Strahan, Jones, yada, yada, yada. It will really come down to Bledsoe. At some poitn someone is going to get through and what will Drew do about it?

Here is the deal with that. Strahan isn't what he used to be. What we have to worry about is the blitzing, but what I've seen in Giants games (I'm in the NY area) is that their game planning pretty much sucks. Their linebackers arn't that great. LaVar Arrington should hang it up. He isn't what he was, and he makes dumb plays. Antonio Peirce is still serviceable, but he can't do everything.

Providing Bledsoe doesn't play like a nincompoop, we should be able to hold the Giants defensively enough to beat them. I suspect that Barber will get some yards, but don't expect him to explode for 150+ like he has. Dallas will attempt to pin him down and make Eli beat the Cowboys. I expect the Cowboys to blitz more often than the have to apply pressure not only to Manning, but stuff running lanes.

I wanna see Bledsoe loft the ball over the blitz into Julius' hands, then sit back and watch the yard markers go by.

I agree with all of that yes I expect the Giants, to come with heavy blitzing and again it has to come down to playing mistake free football.

The Texans, came with that game plan yesterday on defense just like the Eagles did last week while the Cowboys played sloppy on the first half they made the Texans, pay for it in the second half because the o-line was ready for it and if they the o-line can stop the Giants from doing it then they too will be in trouble.

What I find hilarious though is that GiantNut thinks T.O. lost a step he better recognize that TG, T.O. and Crayton are not Michael Jenkins, Roddy White, or Ashley Lelie and Michael Vick, is definitely is not Bledsoe, when he's on he can play with the best of them but the key word for Bledsoe is consistency.
