he has looked fat to me. You cannot move up the depth chart if you are just "a guy". He came from a small school. The facilities, competition, weight training programs, nutritional program were not on the level of the guys from the major programs. So you need to get to the NFL and bury yourself in the weight room, eat right, and study film....because you need to catch up. When a guy is fat, that tells you all you need to know about their commitment to all of those things I just mentioned.

That's what cracks me up about fans. Here's a guy from a small school who was expected to step right into a starting role in the NFL on a contender. Now since he hasn't taken the starting job because the starter has been quite good, he's a bust.

Unrealistic thy name is football fan.

It started with him going to Grambling and it went down hill from there, lol.

It takes time to crack our starting lineup and that is a good thing.

That plus last year, or the year before, reports were he was having a great camp. Then some coach had them running sprints or something without stretching and he hurt a muscle or something. I remember reports that Jerry got onto the coach or trainer pretty good over that one.

What do fans have to do with the depth chart? Absolutely nothing, so why does it even matter?

If Wade says, hey, this guy is going to fit out defense - we will not lose any production - then I'm a-okay with it. I trust Wade to run a defense - that's for sure.

Do people really not notice that Hatcher and Bowen come in on passing downs while Olshansky and Spears tend to play the first 2 downs because they are far better in run support?

Nope....unless he's getting 20 sacks a year as a 3-4 DE he's a bust

Only Buehler is capable of such greatness. Wait till we unleash him.

He has the uncanny ability to sack the opposing team QBs even when we are on offense.

I don't know if I would say he is "fat". Doesn't look like that to me at all. He is a 3rd round pick would comes in on passing situations. He has his role and plays it. Could he do better? Perhaps. Not every player can be a Pro Bowler.

My hatred for all things grambling cannot be helped, it is hereditary. However, I will make the exception after his first 20 sack season.
