What Happened to Reposting the Game?

I'm sad because I like to watch each game 2-3 times to catch things I missed the first time. Anyone know where I can find a link to today's game?

Please! Two weeks in row I had to work during game SMH.

Anyone? We used to have this after every game. And I would watch it twice. Haric posted it all the time, but then Kilyin took over. Now no one does. I know I'm not the only one who would love to rewatch the game.

YouTube cracked down on the videos almost as soon as they were uploaded. The poster who was uploading them said he thought it was new video recognition software that enabled them to do it.

There's another member who posted a page a while back that had some games on it.

I dunno if he puts them all up but there were a couple on there and perhaps he just doesn't want the link to be posted every week.

Youtube has new software that finds it immediately. Someone posted it on their blog a couple weeks ago. There are sites out there that post them for download.

@Kilyin has said that Youtube has cracked down significantly on NFL videos. Makes the whole process of uploading them a waste of time. I don't expect him to post them after the game again anytime soon.

As for anyone else, people post as they are led to. Lately, they haven't felt led to.

Fair enough.

Does anyone have a link to that blog?

Darn shame.

It was a terrific resource.

Last season I tried to cut up the broadcast and also the coaches film, but that was too much work for me so I stopped cutting the broadcast. I also lost my youtube account toward the end of the season. I only cut the coaches film these days, which last season youtube found too often for me to keep uploading it.

My vids of the broadcast still get around the youtube fingerprints a majority of the time because I cut them up a lot, making identification more difficult; it's only found one drive from a game vs Philadelphia in 2010 in the middle of summer. But as stated, I'm not cutting up the broadcast anymore. No cuts = easy to find. Also, I tried to keep uploads under 8 GB/week, and the full broadcasts double that at minimum without adding compression.

Summary: Coaches film: Not an option, easily found. Broadcast: Ability is there, but I'm not working on it.

The next full game I plan on uploading will likely be the preseason 2014.

That stuff takes a lot time, memory and ties up your computer. Amazing anyone would even attempt to do one game. I loved them because i would lay in bed rewatching them on my iphone...well the victories that is.

I tried torrents back in my PC days and got a virus. I've never bothered with them since. What are they? And do they run on Mac?

You just have to know where to get them and be careful. I've been using torrents for over 6 years and never got one single virus.

Macs, I do not know about that. I mean the actual torrent will shoot you a avi, mp4 or whatever type of file. Just need to see if your mac can play those. I know it will play mp4, as that is their signature file.

I can also vouch for torrents. I use the coaches film now, thanks to a wonderful poster here hooking me up, but before that I used torrents for breakdowns and write-ups.

Software developer here. There are plenty of good torrent clients for Mac (I believe Vuze and uTorrent are a couple). I use Pirate Bay to get my torrents, but if you run a Google search for "Dallas Cowboys torrents" or something similar you should be able to get somewhere.

Like another poster said above, just be careful about how you actually get your torrents. I know that most of the torrent sites can be very confusing to navigate (links and ads everywhere), but try to click on links that say "Get Torrent Magnet" or something. Hope this helps.
