What happened to this "Mammoth Offensive Line"?

They went front Mamoths to Mice in a little over three weeks. Did they stop hitting the buffet or something? Are we suddenly running a zone block scheme?

I demand answers!

The Cowboys' front line, like the mammoths, has become extinct.

Good question. Apparently the coaching staff is looking for answers as well.

Flo got the Paycheck and has taken a vacation

Procotor is in over his head and we need to try someone else

you can't expect big, slow guys to pass-block when you ask your Wrs to run 5-10 second routes

Flozell has trouble w/ speed rushers, always has, it will not change, same for Colombo

this O needs a shift in philosophy, big-time, because it's been solved and that's affecting everything that we do

line up the DEs wide, and you'll take advantage of the OTs' weaknesses, and will hit the QB, man TO and shift a S to his side, and you take TO out of the game...offense stalls, WRs are always asked to run these long, vertical routes, and it disrupts the offense's rythm, because they are getting covered, and the OTs are up against speed-rushers for far too long

When Romo started playing with his usual moxie, the O-line suddenly started looking very average didn't they?

Definitely a change in 'timing' anyway.

How about the lost art of the slant route?

Odd that Garrett would have forgotten his Cowboys-era's bread-and-butter play.

I think Flo has given up since hes got his new contract. He doesn't look like he cares.

He might be the guy who has to sit as an example that poor play won't cut it.

If only the Cowboys had an alternative...

:(

I thought I read somewhere last week that Flo has a hurt shoulder or arm or something. ANy truth to that?

If so, he should be sitting, not playing 1 handed and getting our QB's killed.

His arm is injured but he isn't man enough to say he is playing badly. He thinks hes playing alright.

First 3 key things;

1. Flozell Adams thinks he plays ok, and the coaches arent ripping him or making a change
2. proctor isnt a player, he gets pushed back into the QB, he misses blocks, even against rookie defensive linemen, just like flozell,
3. Hudson Houuck has a different scheme and the players arent adhering to it

finally, just plain simple terms, the offensive line is getting a.. whooped period, plain and simple, that to me is attitude, nothing else, man on man, they are getting their read end kicked

Translation.. Poor play calling by Garrett...:storm:
