Im praying to God he doesn't.. can you imagine the feeling around here? We finally have a future or at least that's what we think. And for Dak to be a bust in the regular season I can see suicide watch on High alert in Cowboy nation. What will the vibe be here? Will we forget he was drafted to be 3rd string and forced into the starting lineup?
I mean, I don't anticipate him stinking it up that bad, but when it comes to rookies, you just never know what you have. Once the lights come on, we just don't know even though we've seen him be a staple of poise during the preseason. I just know that there will be some who will automatically look to the future as they did with Moore.Im praying to God he doesn't.. can you imagine the feeling around here? I am expecting him to struggle. Anything above "struggling" will be gravy.
Romo Watch
Sounds more like something you hope than reality.Romo will make it through 2 plays before he's injured again ... this time permanently.
I think that will happen but the difference with Dak is that he has the ability to escape pressure. Siemian was dead on a lot of Carolina blitzes. Dak can move around to by some more time or take off and run. I remember that Siemian int where he threw off his backfoot. If it were Dak, he probably would be able to turn the corner and deliver a strike instead of lobbing it.I am expecting something along the lines of what the Broncos got from Siemian last night. Decent complete rate, around 200 yds passing, a few ill advised passes/decisions. He just has to be a game manager. We say it all the time.....and sometimes I think we get too cute with Romo in there instead of just sticking with what works.
