You stink because you let one mistake turn into 3 or 4. Stinking is about mentally being unable to stop the slide. Dak doesn't have that in him. He will make mistakes and then bounce right back up and ask for more.

I expect a rough game or two. Multiple losses in a row will result in Sanchez. And then it's 2015 all over again

I'm sure we'll throw to the wolves and be looking to bring Sanchez in.

After all an 0-2 start is very difficult to overcome. But I suspect Dak won't be why we lose if we do.

And this is why the experts are all ready writing us off. Basically without a stellar performance by Dak our season is over since the odds are even greater our defense will save us .

No matter how bad Dak is, there is no reason to bring Sanchez in short of an injury.

Of course there is. If we are winless you have to attempt to stop the bleeding .
If we are winless and you put Sanchez in the bleeding will get worse. That guy is a turnover machine that was practically handed the starting job in Denver and couldn't overtake 2 guys with no NFL Experience. The guy has lost it. At least with Dak we can see if he's our future QB. You put Sanchez in and the season will be a complete waste. We'll still lose and we won't know anything.

Just like last year. Weeden played well enough to win against Atlanta and New Orleans if we had a defense which could make a stop to close the game. His performances were similar in Houston winning a couple of games .

But 3 straight losses you become desperate in attempting to save the season for Romo's return.

Now If Romo wasn't coming back then you leave Dak in for the experience since you've basically forgone the season but the whole premise is to stay afloat for Romo's return.

And knowing the Cowboys they won't learn anything about history. If we are struggling that much, Romo's not saving us.

Sanchez has several wins in his career. We don't know yet if Dak could be worse or not.

Yes, we want to see if he's our future but not enough to ruin the present with Romo returning. We're only starting Dak because of the confidence we have from his preseason performance . If that doesn't continue then all of that will be out the window.

DAk doesnt have to be Romo to win this game but he needs to keep the chains moving,I think the Giants have really upgraded their Dl,all 4 are very good run stoppers,it might be the toughest opponent our Oline has faced within the division.I would really start off with throwing the ball if the Giants load up the box.

With all due respect, I disagree. The last few times we've played this team we've needed ROMO to be Romo. And that's where, ultimately, I think Dak may fail. That's not a knock on the kid, it's just the reality. Is it possible that he leads a game winning TD drive with 1:02 on the clock and no time outs? Sure. Likely? Odds are against it. And it's likely that that is exactly what we'll need to win this game (as has been the case the last few times we've played this team).

It will be interesting to watch, one way or the other.

it's why the experts are doubting us. Of course Cowboy fans are always going to be more positive and optimistic. It's natural for us to want to believe.

Sanchez hasn't been great for some time now. If we start 0-5 or 0-6 the season is over. Remember we got 2 wins early last year when Romo was playing. The season was ruined when Romo went down. We aren't going anywhere anyway. Maybe we can win the division but not much more. And it all has to do with Dak. If Dak struggles the season is over. Sanchez isn't saving us.

It's all subjective at this point. Let's see how it plays out but my hunch is if Dak is part of the reason we are 0-3 we will bring in Sanchez. Whether it makes a difference or not , who knows. But my hunch or hope is it won't alone be on Dak like the defense also giving it up .

But because of our defense we really need Dak to excel or someone . Maybe Zeke will run for over 200 yards a game . Maybe Dak won't even have to throw more than15 times a game and we create turnovers. We just don't know .

But I bet we don't sit still if we can't win.

I expect Dak will at least play as well as Romo did when he became the starter against the Giants back in 2006. But, man, our o-line and running game are vastly superior now. Even if Dak plays like Romo in his first action or even as bad as the 2 QBS last night, I think we win the game on the strength of our running game, which also includes Dak, BTW.

I don't worry about out how the fans react, it's not my concern. Though it is entertaining for a few days.

Then Sanchez takes over and we see what happens. Worst case its a lost season, we get a high draft pick to address QB or DE. Possibly even corner...

You hope he does better next week, he's a rookie so I think we should temper our expectations a bit and be patient with him regardless of his play on sunday

Anyone who doesn't think Dak will stink it up in this game or another game just isn't realistic. Tony Romo has been fantastic, yet he has totally sucked in games, singlehandedly costing some games....that's the nature of being a QB, much more in a rookie QB.

Dak will stink it up at some point, but he will have to stink it up bad enough that we decide he needs to sit and regroup for his own good before we see Sanchez. They will stick with Dak as long as he learns and shows progress, but rookies and first time starters often have to sit down at some point before rising again as long term starters.
