I guess we will know by Sunday night. Prescott is in tough. He doesnt have to win this game...he just needs to play well.
I'm sure we'll throw to the wolves and be looking to bring Sanchez in.What will the vibe be here? Will we forget he was drafted to be 3rd string and forced into the starting lineup?
And this is why the experts are all ready writing us off. Basically without a stellar performance by Dak our season is over since the odds are even greater our defense will save us .I expect a rough game or two. Multiple losses in a row will result in Sanchez. And then it's 2015 all over again
No matter how bad Dak is, there is no reason to bring Sanchez in short of an injury.I'm sure we'll throw to the wolves and be looking to bring Sanchez in.
After all an 0-2 start is very difficult to overcome. But I suspect Dak won't be why we lose if we do.
Of course there is. If we are winless you have to attempt to stop the bleeding .No matter how bad Dak is, there is no reason to bring Sanchez in short of an injury.
If we are winless and you put Sanchez in the bleeding will get worse. That guy is a turnover machine that was practically handed the starting job in Denver and couldn't overtake 2 guys with no NFL Experience. The guy has lost it. At least with Dak we can see if he's our future QB. You put Sanchez in and the season will be a complete waste. We'll still lose and we won't know anything.Of course there is. If we are winless you have to attempt to stop the bleeding .
And knowing the Cowboys they won't learn anything about history. If we are struggling that much, Romo's not saving us.Just like last year. Weeden played well enough to win against Atlanta and New Orleans if we had a defense which could make a stop to close the game. His performances were similar in Houston winning a couple of games .
But 3 straight losses you become desperate in attempting to save the season for Romo's return.
Now If Romo wasn't coming back then you leave Dak in for the experience since you've basically forgone the season but the whole premise is to stay afloat for Romo's return.
Sanchez has several wins in his career. We don't know yet if Dak could be worse or not.If we are winless and you put Sanchez in the bleeding will get worse. DAk doesnt have to be Romo to win this game but he needs to keep the chains moving,I think the Giants have really upgraded their Dl,all 4 are very good run stoppers,it might be the toughest opponent our Oline has faced within the division.I would really start off with throwing the ball if the Giants load up the box.
it's why the experts are doubting us. Of course Cowboy fans are always going to be more positive and optimistic. It's natural for us to want to believe. And knowing the Cowboys they won't learn anything about history. If we are struggling that much, Romo's not saving us.
Sanchez hasn't been great for some time now. If we start 0-5 or 0-6 the season is over. Remember we got 2 wins early last year when Romo was playing. The season was ruined when Romo went down. We aren't going anywhere anyway. Maybe we can win the division but not much more. And it all has to do with Dak. If Dak struggles the season is over. Sanchez isn't saving us.Sanchez has several wins in his career. We don't know yet if Dak could be worse or not.
Yes, we want to see if he's our future but not enough to ruin the present with Romo returning. We're only starting Dakbr side of the confidence we have from his preseason performance . If that doesn't continue then all of that be in the past for now.
It's all subjective at this point. Let's see how it plays out but my hunch is if Dak is part of the reason we are 0-3 we will bring in Sanchez. Whether it makes a difference or not , who knows. But my hunch or hope is it won't alone be on Dak like the defense also giving it up .Sanchez hasn't been great for some time now. If we start 0-5 or 0-6 the season is over.
