Psst...hey guess what?

You don't get to decide who is, or what determines whether someone is a realist.

I happen to think BP's example of a "realist" is far more accurate...but that doesn't make it so, either.

:laugh2: :laugh2: Some of you guys do the exact same thing to those that don't follow your realist views. Hey that is just the truth whether you want to admit it or not. Anyone that does not believe as some of you are not realist, they are homers, shills, kool aid drinkers and so on. I mean I see many times when people are called those names and it is going out to people on the forum...not the front office or coaches as you try to claim.

Deny it if you want but that is some truth for some of you guys.

It does take two to tango so if you don't want to dance don't get on the dance floor and then complain about it when someone grabs you by the waist. Or as some have said in a bashing thread...you didn't have to come in this thread and comment, nobody forced you to do so.

Also I take it you want a mod to reign in any person does not agree with your personal belief of what a realist or homer is? Of course if the mods here trouble you, you could always talk to the site owner or take it up with a mod via PMs.

Not at all, but enforcing the stalking guidelines would be fine and dandy, not to mention long overdue. Or is the "see no evil" crowd allowed to follow certain posters from thread to thread for the sole purpose of heaping abuse and provoking fights? If so, I retract the request.

Did we win the Super Bowl yesterday?

No.

So is it time to start spouting off that everyone in the world who criticized Romo, Wade and Cowboys a fool?

No.

And you obviously agreed that the people who thought the OP's post was going over board and was stupid were fools.

So you therefore agreed with it 100%.

You went homer.

This post is stupid.

You could always PM a mod about it and/or put that person on ignore and/or report the post. I mean last time I checked you were well within your rights to do those things. But if you would rather question how the mods do their job in public that is your choice...just don't complain when you are the one getting a PM because you did not want to PM the other way around.

and then return at a later time trying to act like they never doubted?
or do they just immediately change their tone w/o acknowledging their stupid remarks?

I see some here make an "I was wrong" thread and good for them. But there have been alot more naysayers in the past 9 weeks than there are I-was-wrongers owning up to it now.

Not just here in the Zone but on TV and everywhere. Some of these people were really emphatic and combative with their statements. They need to eat it and eat it bigtime. I'm tired of the comments made so strongly without there ever being any accountability for it... that's why these comments are made to begin with. These people should be wearing a "scarlet letter" for the remainder of the season.

It's only week 10 and who knows what the Cowboys will be by season's end.
But Romo IS a top-knotch QB, no debate. Wade IS a hell of a coach and T.O.'s release IS an improvement to the team on all fronts and his production HAS been replaced entirely.

Wow. The clowns are really coming out. It's the exact opposite. YAY. I told ya so. The hypocrisy is universal. Try not to speak mid season. Give it 16, 17, 18 or 19 weeks and then reflect.

Just for fun..

He is coming around and making progress. I like what I see but would like to see playoff results. I'll proceed with caution and you can enjoy the slurpee.

I never liked Wade and still don't really care for his "head coaching" style. As a DC, I'll take him. As a Head Coach? MEH

I don't recall ever saying that. I was one of the biggest TO proponents on the board and felt we were losing a huge element of our offense on the field by letting him go. That said, I had my curiosities about where the production would come from but never said we couldn't replace the production... Guess I am not in that crowd...

The Cowboys were a team without an identity at the start of this season. The players have really dug deep and found their niche as the season has progressed. It's a beautiful thing to see. If we're grading them on 8 games they get a solid A. If we're grading over the course of a full season the jury is still out on how good this team actually is. I prefer to grade out over 19 games. I'm encouraged by what I see and, in retrospect, do believe moving past TO was the right thing to do only because he has begun to age and hi production has dropped off a bit. The better with or without TO argument is just something the soap boxers would like to use as a vine to create a 20 page thread. Good luck with that.

I have questioned romos inconsistant play over the years...Never cared for Wade.

I have eatin crow for everything I said including the Felix mendenhall drama. Hopefully Romo continues to improve. I have no problem with being wrong about Romo If He keeps it up. I will gladly eat crow.

I am pleasantly suprised by the team since the loss to Denver. I want to see them keep it up as well as how December plays out. No complaints from me. ;)

Bottom line - instead of calling everybody out, we should come together as a board, like the Boys are and who knows.

Ok... this is my point of view so here goes..

IMO

Elite "proven" current active QBs (in no particular order)

1. P. Manning
2. Tom Brady
3. Brett Fave (lets start the favre-romo comparison if you like)
4. McNabb
5. Drew Bress
6. Big Ben
7. Rivers

QB's that I think will be much much better than Romo in time

1. Flacco
2. Matt Ryan
3. Aaron Rodgers

How do I see Romo?

More or less like the following

1. Kitna
2. Hasselbeck
3. Jake Helhomme
4. Bulger
5. Culppeper
6. Aaaron brooks
7. Rodney Pete

QBs that have sparks here and there.. but wont ever consolidate

:lmao2:

If only we had a real QB, we'd be 7-1 or 8-0.

If we had a fiery coach like Singletary, we'd be 7-1 or 8-0.

If we had Singletary's hill; OMGUNIVERSEIMPLOSION.

again - labels and extremes.

you have 1.
you have 1000.

you tend to bypass 2-999 and assume everyone else does the same.

Why do people equate *****ing about a 5-2 or 6-2 team with drinking kool aid for the same 5-2 team or 6-2 team? It's not even remotely the same thing. If the team were playing 500 ball, it would make sense for the grumbling to about match the clapping, but that hasn't been the case in Dallas for some time.

I understand that angry people post more (and in my opinion they think less), but I don't understand the point of visiting a team site for a winning team with superbowl aspirations and doing nothing but complaining and second guessing. Sure, it's any poster's right to have whatever bad take they want to try to support, but who does that and then complains about the backlash? Is that normal behavior...even on the internets?

And, at the risk of stalking, there's such a thing as 'crying wolf.' For my part, I'll try to stop engaging with the wolf-cryer. I'd put them on 'ignore' if they weren't occasionally interesting or outright entertaining, but it's not worth the hassle of dealing with sophomoric hijinks when there are other quality posters to debate who don't mind people disagreeing with them.
