Was just reading a thread where someone mentioned their girlfriend having issues with his Cowboys fandom and I thought I'd get other people's experiences.
Here's the most recent thing I experienced:
My girlfriend and I live in Seattle. We went on a short vacation this past weekend to Eastern Washington. We were there only Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday and Saturday were great, and now it was Sunday, our last day of vacation. She wanted to do something different and see the sights one last time, so we drove to the little town off Lake Chelan. I figured she'd be able to do some things on her own while I watched the game. Unfortunately, this town was a ghost town because it's only really a summer resort getaway. Fortunately, I found one little restaurant in the town open that had a TV with no sound off in the back corner by the kitchen and bathroom. So we sat there for 3 and a half hours while I watched the game and she read a book. By the time the game was over, it was too dark to see anything and we drove back home. I told her be grateful, the first two days were fun.
