1. I liked that offense looked like a functioning offense under Cassel. I didn't like the turnovers.

2. I liked that we discovered the receiving corps. I didn't like the phantom penalty they called on Street to reverse DMC's touchdown.

3. I liked Darren McFadden's production today. Where have you been all of my life? I didn't like that Randle was injured.

4. I liked the general defensive play. I didn't like the run D.

5. I like that Dez is returning soon. I didn't like the media teasers leading up to the game.

Sucks to lose a game that could eventually sink the season, but there were some positives to take away on both sides of the ball. Special teams not so much. I tend towards the positive so hopefully they can pull two of these next three but they did seem to put all of their chips on the table coming into the game so I'm curious to see how they respond next week.

I don't like how Terrance Williams plays football. He is not aggressive enough on going for the football. The WR corps is a joke compared to other teams.

I like that Dez is coming back next week.

Don't count on it.

Bone isn't healed and the dude hasn't even practiced.

SNF vs Philadelphia is more realistic.

Don't like how this defense doesn't force turnovers

We had one, refs blew the play dead a second too soon. The Jones was near an INT.

We are simply getting unlucky. Ball security is usually okay in Seattle, so they will come in Philly and Tampa Bay.

None of the Cowboy's DBs have a nose for the ball.

Claiborne averages 1 INT per year.
Carr 1.75 INTs per year.
Church 0.5 INTs per year.
Wilcox 1.33 INTs per year.

These are the guys the Cowboys decided to go with in the secondary. Typically the secondary is responsible for the most TOs on defense.

I liked the reverses and misdirection with Lucky, wow what a concept!

I didn't like how our LB'S and Safetys disappeared.

That ball was two feet away from the back when the whistle blew. You can't see when it pops out but it would have had to violate the laws of physics to nothave been a fumble. Oh no did I just summon the ghost of Rogah.

Except last year. Carter had three interceptions. McClain had two. Hitchens had one. Defensive line forced fumbles.

Wilcox, Claibourne, and Patmon were the only players who had interceptions. Carr and Church didn't have one.

20 points and 3 turnovers doesn't look like a functioning offense to me.

The definition of function is relative. Nobody likes turnovers unless they're forced by the defense. What I liked is that the offense didn't look like it was stuck in mud the whole time. They actually moved the ball, which I think we can all agree they didn't do very well in previous games.

I don't like how they still didn't bother really using CMike and seeing what he could do. 2-3 carries just isn't going to do it with his running style.

Cassell threw for roughly the same yardage as Weeden with a lot more picks. They both stink and shouldn't be NFL QBs

nice post. While I don't have it in me to do it myself, I do admire your optimism and glass half full mentality.

I didn't like the fact we averaged almost 6 yards per carry and yet did not play action ONCE the entire second half. It would've been extremely effective.

I can respect that, but the run game wasn't a reason the Cowboys lost today. He did well with his carries, but I just can't get up for the disappointment in not seeing more of him when they did so well.

I guess so. If I have a QB putting up 3 INTs, I expect more than 17 completions and more than 250 yards and a TD.
