What I want in a new stadium

I think it would be cool to have noise meters racing down each sideline along the face of the luxury suites/media boxes - green into yellow into orange into red into BLUE. Maybe it would motivate some of our fans and give us an actual home field advantage.

I would also like for someone to design the stadium in away to naturally amplify what noise we do have.

I know it will never happen because of lost advertising, but ti would be nice to sacrifice some money to try and gain an edge.

AND please do not sell the naming rights, lets keep as much class and prestige associated with the Cowboys as we can!

It would be really cool if they named the stadium Tom Landry Stadium.

Old Ralph Neely was on the Ticket last year and talked about having sections in the stadium named after some of the greats that maybe werent worthy of ROH status but very good players and it would be a way to remember them.

They should start by putting all the seats up for grabs and not give the current sit on their hands asleep fans first shot at season tickets.

Dividers between the urinals.

Haha nice one, totally agree. Maybe a tad bit more room between seats as well. (Inside the stadium).

If Jerry does that I will applaud him till I can't lift my hands any more. If he doesn't do it I will be disappointed.

Not gonna happen. He'll move the Landry statue to the new site and that's it. Personally, I prefer "Cortez Field." :)

There's no chance whatsoever that the new stadium will be called Landy Stadium. The Cowboys have every intention of selling the name to the stadium just like pretty much every new stadium that has been built in the last decade. When the Cowboys reached an agreement with the city of Arlington, there's a clause in the lease that gives Arlington 5 percent of the naming rights of the stadium, up to $500,000 per year. Who know's what it will be called, but it will be the name of some corporate sponsor.

Actually The City of Irving owns the rights to the name "Texas Stadium" (or at least they used to). If they still do, I highly doubt they will let it go.

OK if we cant call the new home Texas Stadium. How bout we call it. Tom Landry Stadium. I know Jones wont go for that, but that would be the classiest thing to do. That certainly sounds better then Jerry Jones Stadium.

One of the sponsors for the Bayou Classic game between Grambling and Southern was Playtex. They were sponsoring the Grambling State cheerleaders. What's funny is they were showing the male cheerleaders on the jumbotron... :D

What I want in a new stadium is not to have to walk across or around a freeway to get to the stadium from the cash parking lot. A park and ride lot which will have buses taking fans to and from the stadium would be the ultimate cool thing to do..

I think the noise meter is a great idea, apparently we need something in our stadium to get the fans to make some noise at the right times.

I think it's going to be a hell of a stadium, whatever they come up with it sounds like JJ has taken a good hard look at all the new stadiums built around the NFL and will take all the best ideas and incorporate them into our new home.

How about tv screens in the bathrooms so when nature calls you don't miss any important plays.
And how about some pathways through the crowds that the cheerleaders can dance along during the game so everyone can get a better view :)
A nice hole in the roof wouldn't go a miss.

As far as corporate naming of the stadium, it's a certainty to happen, worth over $100 Million every time so there is no way they pass up that opportunity. What company is good enough to name the home of the cowboys though?

Budweiser Stadium
Shiner Bock Field
Marlboro Stadium
Pepto Bismol Arena

Just please god don't let Chevy have anything to do with it.
