I mean seriously if the kid goes 6 and 2 everybody on the team's going to be in love with them especially Dez so putting Romo in at that point wouldn't be good for Romo

I'll wee wee myself.

Get your diapers ready!

DFWJC only wants to win if Romo is the one guiding the ship(and he's ready to go down with that Romo led ship). If this team is 6-2(and they will be), it would be moronic to bench Dak or any QB, especially if they're playing at a high level.

I like T. Williams, if Butler starts to out perform him, I'll treat Williams like never knew him! I have no attachment to players, I want to win!

I just don't see why he can't do that well or better. This season should be about our running game regardless who our QB is. Timely throws to Dez and lets get rolling. I just hope we design the offense around Dak now, more zone read etc. he has wheels let's use them!!

I would like to trust the staff will design and redesign an offense around Dak and one that can easily evolve. The OL is good, the RBs are good, the WR are okay and the TEs will be okay. However, we need to figure out what Dak doesn't do well and avoid those situations as much as possible or at least mitigate them.

So to answer the question..if Dak can go 6-2, he's the starter and Romo gets to ride the pine ala Drew Bledsoe in New England and in Dallas...ironic that the last QB to replace him may be replaced himself...Life in full circles.

If we start the season 6-2 with Dak you stay with him. Romo will be rusty from an inactivity, he missed 12 games last season and played very little this preseason. He's been held out of practices to rest so he's going to have a tough time hitting the ground running when he returns. If Dak begins to struggle you pull him for Romo.

If Dak is above .500, no way can you put in Romo. You let him hold the clipboard and help Dak as much as he can. Dallas will have some chemistry if that is the situation and it would be dumb to put Tony in to change that.

Now, if they go on to lose a few(sub .500) and are still within striking distance for the playoffs, then let Romo start after he has healed some more and gotten back in shape.

I am more worried about what kind of offense we will see to start the season. I imagine lots and lots of running facing stacked boxes until Dak can prove that he can counter that. Thanks goodness we have Dez in there......knocks on wood!
