Yep. Bryant and Garrett need to go..then this club will be ready for bigger things.
Bryant isn't and never has been a #1 WR..He is a lazy redzone jump ball specialist that never learned more than 3 routes and runs them in slow motion. His idiotic contract is dragging the club down. Luckily, his guaranteed money is down this yr and so is he.
Maybe Dez can pick it up a bit and make Dak look a little more serviceable. :)

What?

What if Dak gets steadily worse?

Well, what if a meteor half the sjze of the moon is on an inevitable collision course with Earth and will strike exactly on the day of the Super Bowl and the city in which it is being played is the epicenter? Not that is matters, it is a global extincrion event

Does that take anyone's mind off of "What if's" when it comes to Dak

Dak had one game in which his QB rating was less than 90.0.

Joe Flacco, Marcus Mariotta, Cam Newton, Russel Wilson, Carson Palmer, Matt Ryan, Ben Roethlesberger, and Matthew Stafford all had more games with a rating of under 90 this season.

What if Dak is the only NFL QB that doesn't get steadily worse? Wouldn't that be great?

Many QBs don't just magically get more accurate because they play more ball. For some it never comes.

Dak is missing WRs running in stride 7 yards down the field. In clean pockets. It's concerning.

I agree, it is a concern, but these are things he demonstrated an ability to do successfully last season. I believe, with time, he will regain that touch.

Not without real QB coaching! His technique in foot work is very bad in passing, and his reading the defense is along way off.

What if Zeke steadily gets worse by seasons end?
What if the OL (namely TSmith, Frederick, Martin) steadily gets worse by seasons end?
What if JWitt continues to decline....when does someone whisper in his ear?.....when do we get a TE that can get downfield....when do we start addressing the inevitable?

Its the ole Romo lovers mostly. Prescott is what the club has now and going forward. Romo is not coming back..ever. Thankfully.;):muttley::muttley::muttley:
:angry::(

:lmao: I've never ever bashed on the #4 as he's a rarely seen commodity of competence,,, but I've never grooved to the bash #9 tune around here either,,,ya,sure, if not for him single handedly dragging the team to (3) 8-8/.500 seasons ,and therefore nullifying the franchise's better drafting picks ,I can see the seething hatred by some towards a true competitor,,, and that's exactly why we'll never be able to have anything nice around the house,,,,because of you kidso_O

It's a valid question. Dak has shown real consistency and accuracy issues. He can hit wide open receivers maybe 80% of the time. Will his accuracy improve enough? Or is it just going to be acceptable he can't throw in a tight window? The Cowboys will never get to that level with a QB who is "just pretty good". As you've seen already, teams have a plan for Dak and it's achieving results. His play action rollouts are going to have a LB waiting for him more often now. Keep him in the pocket. He's average from there.

So is this what it's going to be for the next 3-4 years? You've got to ask yourself...

What young QB has steadily improved every year? Throws with anticipation? Stands in the pocket? Leads his receiver instead of only throwing outs and comebacks? Can make every throw required. And just so happens to be a free agent 2018? Don't tell me you haven't thought about.

Kirk Cousins.

How often does a QB, seemingly ready to take the next step come available to the highest bidder?

1) How awesome would it be for the Skins to be dumb enough to let him get away?
2) How awesome to let him get to a hated rival and have nobody to replace him with?
3) A plug and play QB who has the possibility to throw for 4500 yards if needed.
4) A QB motivated to remind his former team of the mistake they made twice a year for the next 8-10 years.

A pretty bold move to make. One that might be best for the team.
Its a long season, and this one just got started. If Dak regresses as much as you think he might, I will blame the coaching, or lack of it.

All very likely. Maybe it will lead to a coaching change? Lol. Nah. Jerry is not that smart.

If Dak and Cousins were both released tomorrow 32 teams would be fighting over Dak.
