The big concern, for me, would be whether not drafting a back forces a change of identity. I don't think we need a guy racking up 1800 yards. But this was a team that got to 12-4 by being able to impose its will on defenses with the run game. Could it do that with the incumbents? I don't know.
Obviously, there's enough talent in the passing game to be able to switch the focus of our attack. Only trouble is that the team has never shown that it can be a winner on the strength of a dominant, pass-first attack. Of course, having a weak defense was a big reason for that so I guess it would depend on whether I thought they'd done enough in the draft to strengthen the defense and compensate for a (seemingly) less dominant rushing attack.
