Okay, it is pretty much a foregone conclusion that OSU beats anyone it faces in the BCS Title Game.

What if USC plays OSU in the Title game and they win, who is the NC?

What if Michigan plays OSU in the Title game and they win, who is the NC?

ND?

I know one thing, the BCS needs OSU to win out.

How could anyone who wins the Bowl Championship Game...Not be champion?

I mean if Ohio St wins they are Champions...But in the same token if USC or anybody beats Ohio St...then they win it because they beat the best.

It happened a couple of years ago with LSU and USC didnt it? Maybe the Circumstances were different (Polls etc etc).

I think it's pretty clear cut here though. Ohio St is undisputed #1. If you beat them you would have to be #1. I just could not see it happening any other way.

True.

But if Ohio State loses then all the top teams have 1 loss.

It is not exactly the Scenario that went down in 2003 but it has some similarities.

To me, OSU is the BCS's best friend. To maintain whatever credibility it has left, OSU must win out.

It's pretty simple...lets say Ohio St wins and that's that, they are Champions...Works for me!:D

Agreed!

If that doesn't happen...I think the winner is Quasi Champ.

The AP poll can still vote a different #1 than is determined in the BCS game. They did when they voted UCS #1 and LSU took the BCS title game. And that was when the AP poll was tied into the BCS ratings. The BCS ratings no longer use the AP poll, just the Coaches poll and computer rankings.

I could see something like that happening if there is a re-match and Michigan won a close game or maybe a couple of other situations.
