im wonder what will happen if dallas rocks with this 4-3? is this only a 1 game situation? or is this bill seeing the light that maybe this 3-4 wasnt the best thing for dallas? did he have some push from jerry?

if any of you remember the last time dallas played the 4-3 was the 4th quarter of the niner game last yr. and if any of u remember dallas destroyed them in that quarter to get back in the game and win it. they also has spears in the middle and he was great for that short period of time(1 quarter). i have to believe with more talent, and the upcoming of a ratliff this time it would work better. only thing is greg ellis is not playing, that suks.

but do any of you think this is a change in scheme or just a 1 game fix because of the situation?

Well I'm glad we're facing an offensive juggernaut this Sunday, where we can experiment with a new defensive scheme just one week before the playoffs. Great...

i think it might be to. but i like his chances. one reason 2003, the guy put together a defense that yr that nobody could run on. i dont count 2004 because parcells and jerry laid a dud that yr in freeagency. they had 25mil to play with and ended up laving 18 mil on the books. most of that 7 mil spent was on wiley(LOL). and instead of signing guys like atoine winfield, and bertrand berry, they signed wiley and tryone williams. and brought in chad freaking eaton.

i have faith in zimmer with a 4-3. and well maybe a change is needed. dallas tried the 3-4 for 2 yrs and they still look the same as they did the first game they tried it. no pressure and they get ran over.

tho i do think this has more to do with the loss of ellis more then anything. dallas, and dallas fans are seeing just how valuable he is to this team and more importantly defense.

ellis kept the heads level in the lockerroom, and he was a leader on the field. its no coincidence dallas is struggling since he went down. just like they did last yr

If the 4-3 rocks, the Lions are the worst pass-protecting team in the league.

Wait....that's true even if it doesn't rock. I don't think many conclusions can be drawn from this game. Hopefully, it just gets them feeling better about themselves, and their chances.

Boosting self-esteem worked wonders for Michael.

If the 4-3 rocks, it would mean the Boys found a DT and DE (besides Ware) that could rush the passer. Personally, I would be curious to see Ratliff at DT (next to Fergy) and Hatcher at LDE.

Has it been determined for sure that the changes will be going to the 43?
It's scary to change at this stage of the game. Of course that would be as scary as not changing.
