What if the Commanders blow out the Cowboys

both teams lost the opener, both are desperate to win game 2, loser is 0-2,
So both teams will fight, but something tells me the Commanders may want it more than the cowboys,

They get pats and hugs from HC every week for just making a good play, they dont need to win, just keep games close.

I watched the pitt wash game, and pitt is just good team, Dallas will find that out later in the season.

I have to say wash wins a close game.

or watch defenders pick them off and run them back??
you know dez has never made a tackle, so if other guy picks it off dez will just watch.

I dont know, no idea, and it should be morris, but no telling what our braintrust does,
and jerry hasnt said on that.
Run game has to be better than in giants game though right >???? again I dont know.

Hope we win but if we lose I hope it's by a lot. I'm done with mediocrity or just getting by. Either get busy competing or get busy losing so we can move on with new FO personnel. I know some in here think it will literally take Jerry's funeral for fundamental change but I think if we go a few more average seasons, Stephen has to do something. Here's to hoping anyway.

They are a wine and cheese team and I'd rather have a 7-11 nachos and 40s team. Lil more edgy lil more angry. I want a Ray Lewis on our team.

I watched the game and alot of those passes were high or behind Dallas receivers...Cousins had receivers drop passes also, but that didn't stop him from having a better completion ratio or more yards per attempt or a better rating while having 2int's..So if Cousins sucks whats wrong with Dak?

However having said that, allow me to add this.

Rookie starter at QB, that will be in for another five games, unless they rush Romo back. In which case he will be injured early and lost for the season and perhaps his career.

Then this season is about getting the right position for drafting and focusing on defense in the off season.

While some argue free agency never works, one real stud linebacker, DE,or safety, along with a defense oriented draft could make a world of difference with this team.

Tenn. DE Derek Bennett looks like a great pick, as well as perhaps Texas A&M Miles Garrett.

There is a term used on this board which is denigrated.

But taking these lemons this team has continually gathered and making lemonade could be done in one off season were they to wake up to the reality the kid under center needs a defense. As has Romo over his tenure.

Dont confuse edgy with smoking the weedz. Weed smokers arent edgy or angry. They are actually the opposite. Weed= harold and kumar, i dont see alot of edgy in them. Or how about bob marley or willie nelson.

Edgy is intimidating. Its telling the receivers if you come through the middle ima hit u hard so hard u gonna have crocodile arms and see stars. Edgy is given a little extra sumptin when you hit the running back. Like when a corner wraps up the receiver an the linebacker goes in for the kill shot. Edgy is when they hit u, u come back harder. Edgy is making them so scared they call their mammas at half time cause they dont know if everything is gonna be alright.

JG makes them play like gentlemen , and they dont get upset when they lose.
