What if the Unthinkable happens and the Cardinals soundly beat us at home?

1. What would be your reaction?

2. What would be Jerrys reaction?

3.What would be the media's reaction?

My reaction would be to pull a Redd Foxx in Sanford and Son, put my hands over my heart and yell, "This is the big one"! Only, I would really mean it!!

What do you THINK the reaction would be? People think the world is coming to an end when we lose to a playoff team like Seattle in the final seconds... think about what would happen if AZ torches us.

This board would be about half the size it is right now. The rest of then you would find at the bottom of a Lake.

Won’t happen. Although i can see us letting them hang around long enough to get beaten in the final 2 minutes. Cardinals seem to have a pretty good defense, yet all this week we will hear Parcells bark about what the defense has to do. Parcells don’t worry bout the defense, they will be fine, fix the damn offense man.

That would be tough to swallow, for sure.

But still, we would be 4-4 at the halfway mark. Not bad. Certainly not as bad as what the Jets are going thru.

Looking at the remaining schedule, if we fall to 4-4 then I think 7-9 is very possible.

I think the obvious reaction would be to start a thread calling for us to re-sign Cortez.

I think we could lose (don't think we will, but it certainly COULD happen)... but I don't think we will "lose soundly."

If we do, then we suck.

The Cardinals are 1-22 in their past 23 road games, and their only victory was a last-minute, one-point win over a Miami Dolphins team that was 1-7 at the time and had Jay Fiedler at quarterback and Sammy Morris and Travis Minor at running back. And the last time the Cardinals beat anyone soundly on the road was in 2001 against the 1-13 Panthers.

If we get "soundly" beaten by the Cardinals at Texas Stadium, it will be our most embarrassing loss in years.

If the Cards win, I will rip off my Roy Williams jersey, go to the store and find a Neil Lomax jersey and become a Cards fan and laugh at all of you.

Of course, I'm joking. Seriously, if the Cards come to Big D and spank us, I probably won't be going to work for that entire week, lol. Oh the grilling that will come of it.

Every single one on this board would go nuts with threads like "Fire Parcells" and "There's still next year"

Jerry would probably cry.

The media would probably be a lot like this board.

-Young Teams give games away. That's why you call them young.
-Jerry would continue to try and find ways to help the team win. Is that good or bad? I don't know.
-Blood in the water. They would do an about face and start talking about the Cowboys and Vince Young, Matt Leinart or whomever is the flavor of the week in College Football. Also, Wise and Houston Nutt as coach of the Cowboys.

These guys clocked us a few years back at home if I remember right...they got good receivers and have nothing to lose, the pressure is on us to redeem ourselves and we have shown what happens when the pressure gets too tight, we start to choke up...

If we lose, I'm in therapy here in the zone (Like I am this week, and the week after the skins loss and raider loss....). Hopefully they understand how BIG this game is for us....

If we lose, we will have multiple threads started stating "If someone told you we would be 4-4 at the beginning of the season heading into the bye..."
