Dexter Lawrence. Scheme and gap versitile. Able to wreck an offense from any gap on the interior, but run and pass. Not as sexy as a Myles Garrett or a Nick Bosa, but might be more impactful

Wrote a post this week, saying the Cowboys should target bad teams for another Gilmore type of trade. Salary dump for a player on his last yr of his contract for a mid day 3 pick.
 
At 4 weeks in, there's teams that are tied.
Including tied teams I would call the Bengals.

Hendrickson and Wilson. Even if Wilson is declining, he has to be better than 90% of our active LBs. Last year he still scored very high in run defense.

I love Dexter Lawrence, but the entire defense right now is suffering from the lack of an elite pass rusher. The zone is worthless without your front four getting pressure without blitzing.

As for LBer ........Roquan Smith or Patrick Queen, both are tackling machines

Roquon is out for multiple weeks. It’s a shame because he’s a great player.

I thought OP was just going for pure fantasy. Guy from a losing team shows up for practice tomorrow.

If this is about trades, then I’m good standing pat. There’s no player that will make us a contender for the division, let alone the conference.
