We haven't won a divisional playoff game sijce 1995.

We haven't won a road playoff game since 1992.

I want both streaks snapped this January.

There are only 2 teams every year that make a deep playoff run.

2 more have a playoff run.

8 more were "in the playoffs".

IMO it is an appearance and GOOD showing in the NFC title game.

i'd define a deep run in the playoffs as winning the conference championship. anything less is a short run.

For serious contenders, the minimum is a conference championship appearance.

Anything less is for pretenders.

I want a HC who has a realistic chance of breaking that streak not putting lipstick on this pig of mediocrity

NFC Championship game, being within 3 points of the lead, or having the lead, with two minutes left.

Anything short is another failure of this front office, coaching staff and players to rise to the occasion.

I don't care about those specific scoring requirements, but the team would need to show it belongs in the NFCCG and be at least competitive enough to have a chance to win in the 4th quarter.

Frankly, Garrett needs to get to the SB or lose in the conference championship under extenuating circumstances (e.g., last year's Saints).

Win in the divisional round. They don't have to win the NFCC game but they need to get to it.

Win the conference championship or what we did last season, divisional round?

At least make it to the NFCCG.

But "deep playoff run" does not count if you get a first round bye. Then you are considered a SB contender because you start out in the top 4 with a week off and get your first game at home. And anything short of getting to the SB in that situation is considered a disappointment.

Believe it or not, the Cowboys have been kicked to the curb twice in the last 12 years in that situation.

Wow!!!

And Wade had the gall to say the Cowboys won a playoff game back when he was coach because the Cowboys got a bye. Like getting a bye qualifies as a playoff win.

LOL!!!! I knew he wouldn't last long when that garbage came out of his pie hole.

Well of course you can say that. Aren't you a Steelers fans? They don't have Jerry at the helm, so you can say that. Us Cowboys fans have to lower the bar of expectation because of Jerry...so making a showing at the NFC Championship is a deep playoff run.
