What is Dallas doing with all these 6-3 WRs

The preseason might be fun to watch given that we have real NFL backup QBs who aren't afraid to throw more than 5 yards down the field. Catching will be 4 or 5 6-3 WRs. So why so many?

My opinion we're trying to turn Washington or the Miami kid into a 6th rounder at the end of camp like we did last year with San Diego. These receivers will be difficult to match up with for sure.

Watch for chris Boyd. Kid is extremely talented. He was kicked off the team for not being truthful on him covering up a rape his friends did.

Linehan is the OC. Garrett is somewhat conservative and it might be that Linehan gets Romo to let em rip a coupleof time. Linehan is known for his work with Moss and Megatron both of which use the jump ball as a big part of their game.

He also really liked the rookie TE Joseph Fauria 6'7" who caught 7 TDs. I'm hoping for a breakout year from Escobar. Especially with our new TE's coach.

I've seen some thoughts that smaller WRs will eventually go the way of Running Backs in the NFL, in that with the prevalence of man coverage in the NFL that guys who win with the ball in the air (IE Taller players) will be the only future first round picks at the position.

If I could count on Tyree helmet catches and other rabbit foot plays routinely, of course. But reality says I will go with the guy who gives me the best chance from today, going forward, to win a Super Bowl and that guy is the better QB. That better QB is Tony Romo, back and all.

We only have two WRs who we would trust to start that are over 6', Dez & TWill. We need to find depth there in case of injuries.

Harris and Beasley are slot guys. They are both poorly suited to manning the wide out position for too long.

I think you are on to something. Would be great to see use this approach when warranted. Especially when the pass , even if intercepted would be equivalent to a good punt re field position.
