Since I see we do have some golfers at the site can you share what type of clubs you are playing?

Myself, I'm currently playing with a set of Titleist tour blades they are a good 20 years old but still playing well with them but planning on replacing them this weekend with a new set of Titlest AP1.

As for the fairway woods (metals): I'm currently playing a set of Taylor made
Driver: TaylorMade 540
Putter: TaylorMade Rosa putter

Common ball I play: Titleist ProV1x

Driver-- Titleist 975J titanium (the one Tiger used before he signed on with Nike)...

Fairway Woods-- Adams Tight Lies (the original ones)-- 12 degree brassie, 4 wood... the brassie was an impulse buy, I originally only intended to buy the 4 wood, but it has quickly become one of my favorite clubs... it's GREAT for tee shots on tight holes, I can hit it within about 15 yards of my driver, and am probably twice as likely to keep it in the short grass... this is good for me, because I tend to tighten up on tree-lined holes, and often hit a lousy tee shot...

Irons-- Ping Karsten IV, 1 iron through the lob wedge... until a couple-three years ago, I was still using an original set of Pings, c. 1972 models... my nephew has them in his bag now...

Putter-- Odyssey Dual Force mallet...

Obviously, I don't carry all of them at once, that would be 16 clubs... :D

I also use the Pro V1 ball, it's simply the best I've ever played...

You guys know that Titleist has to quit making the Pro V1 brand now right? They probably will change whatever they copied but they copied a Callaway patent and Callaway sued and won.

Now obviously they are still selling the balls in stores so there must be some appeals and what not going on.

This if from Forbes.com;

Callaway Golf Wins Post Trial Motions in Lawsuit Against Acushnet
11.11.08, 12:03 AM ET

Callaway Golf (NYSE: ELY) today announced that the United States District Court in Wilmington, Delaware, has granted Callaway Golf's request for a permanent injunction to stop sales of Acushnet's current line of Titleist Pro V1 family of golf balls, effective no later than January 1, 2009. At Callaway Golf's request, professional golfers will be allowed to play Pro V1 golf balls through the end of this calendar year.

In its ruling today, the Court also rejected Acushnet's request to overturn the jury's December 2007 verdict which found that Callaway Golf's golf ball patents were valid and infringed by Acushnet's Titleist Pro V1 family of golf balls.

"Callaway Golf has invested millions of dollars in Research and Development to create innovative products for millions of golfers around the world, and has protected those products with one of the broadest patent portfolios in golf," said Steve McCracken, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, Callaway Golf. "We are very pleased with today's decision which will stop the sale of these infringing Pro V1 golf balls."

Through an unwavering commitment to innovation, Callaway Golf Company (NYSE:ELY) creates products and services designed to make every golfer a better golfer. Callaway Golf Company manufactures and sells golf clubs and golf balls, and sells golf accessories, under the Callaway Golf(R), Odyssey(R), Top-Flite(R), and Ben Hogan(R) brands in more than 110 countries worldwide. My Irons 9-pw/sw are Nike Sling sots.

My Driver is a 10.5 degree V-Rod( cheap brand that a friend showed me and I hit it very well, so it's a keeper for now).

3 wood is a pinseeker, I don't carry a 5,7,9 wood, I got rid of the nike woods, could never hit em.

My putter is a never compromise(sp?)

I use Nike golf balls exclusively.

There is a putter I found online the other day that is made by Adams I believe, it has a computer read out on it that tells you what areas of your putting you need to improve on. Normal price is like $500, but I found it for 2 something on the web.

Well after going back to Golf Galaxy to have my new Iron fitted I ended up changing my mind from the Titlest AP1 to the Nike RedV. When hitting the Nike I was getting an addition 10 yards from that of the Titlest.

I like the colors as they make me feel manly and scare
my fellow golfers on the course so they are not on their
games.
