Whichever HC Jones decides to interview or bring in, he has to know ahead of time if he can handle Terrell Owens. Seriously, how many teams have EVER had a problem like that? "Hey, we have this great job coaching "America's Team", but we also have the biggest coach-killing, pain in the butt player in NFL history. So, you have to decide not if you can bring in the right players to win the Super Bowl, but if you can deal with all of the media hype that this prima-donna WR who led the league in dropped passes last year will attract with his whining & self promotion. Oh, by the way, even though only two other receivers had more passes thrown his way, he recently complained that the team would have done better last year if the out-going HC had focused the offense more on him".

Man, I can't wait until Jerry Jones decides to step down, so a sane owner can run my favorite team.

Two things I think I think...

1) Can anyone handle Terrell Owens? We've seen an all time great handler of the media be annoyed at all the media attention.

2) Would a minority candidate have a better chance? I don't know TO, but just throwing it out there.

My god. It's not like he's some mythical creature that only those who can pull the sword from the stone can slay.

He's just a guy. If you don't know how to handle personalities, you don't have any business being a head coach in the NFL.

It didn't seem to help his relationship with McNabb. I doubt having a minority coach would change TO's bad habits.

I really think TO threw himself under the bus with his comments on Parcells. It's going to surprise me if he isn't gone no matter who the new HC is.

Don't you guys see how wrong this is. No one should get this much of attention in the confines of a team. No one player should be such an issue that we have to even think/worry about how a new HC is going to handle him. This guy isn't bigger than team but sadly, for some, he is and everbody has to work around him instead of him trying to fit in.

I think BP knew how to handle him in the locker room. There weren't any real locker room incidents to speak of this year. The only thing I remember coming close was the sleeping in meetings/tardiness stuff.

Handling the media vis a vis TO is a whole different animal.

even though Jones has said Owens will be back, the $$$ dont have to be paid till June...thats plenty enough time for some new coach to decide if they can deal with him or not

like Mort and Werder said, it aint a lock TO is back
