The answer is easy for me. The offensive line. Allen is still good. Adams is good. But Pettiti is unproven and will hopefully get better. We have no real center. Al Johnson and Andre Gurode both suck. Marco Rivera is a total bust and a waste of FA $$$ we gave him. Rivera super sucks.

Like it or not Cowboy fans we will not have a fancy off season coming up. Expect in the draft and FA for Parcells to make a big run on offensive line.

I really think Parcells would like to open up the offense more but the problem is he has no trust or faith in our OL and probaly has to hold back on it or else he is gonna get Bledsoe knocked out for the season.

Next year with the big changes at OL I expect to see and if we have a strong OL again. Then expect to see us to play to win every game and go away from the conservative garbage.

The O-Line allows too many negative plays and they were called for way too many penalties today. That just kills momentum.

O-Line has to be solid for us to go further...we are better then last year but not up to the level to be a championship club (and perhaps a playoff club)...

Why should we have faith in Parcells' ability to upgrade the OL. He's the one who signed an aging Rivera to that big contract, drafted Al Johnson in the high 2nd (who he whines about being too small), drafted Jacob Rogers in the high 2nd (who had major red flags coming out of USC), drafted Peterman in the 3rd, and signed Ryan Young to fix our RT problems when he first got here. I would say all those moves have turned out questionable at best. Parcells hasn't done much to improve the OL in his three years here and it's a huge problem going forward.

Just because the O-line is the "biggest problem", doesn't mean they absolutely suck. It just means they are the weakest link on our team, but they can and should get better.

IE: Rookie right tackle and 1st full game for our "new" left tackle (Tucker)

LT: Tucker probably played as good or better then any other OL in the game. Larry Allen is the only one that might have played better then Tucker.

LG: Didn't really notice him much. Which is a good thing.

C: Al Johnson continues to get driven back on running plays. Correct me if I"m wrong, but isn't the OL supposed to do the pushing around on running plays? We need a better Center, badly. This is the weakest link on the OL IMO.

RG: Rivera wasn't horrible, but he wasn't average either. He played a little below average, but he wasn't the worst player on the Line this game. Hell, he wasn't even second worst. That holding call was complete BS. The refs really screwed the whole rythm of the game, for both teams.

RT: Petitti was horrible. Even on a play where he had help he gave up a sack. He was absolutely freakin' horrible in this game. Easily the worst lineman of the day, with Johnson coming in second.

Our OL is below average. And when that's the case it limits you offensively, and NO, the answer to that is NOT to be more aggressive. That just opens you up to even MORE negative plays. We ran the ball well in a rain game (which is a good thing) but they weren't consistent and the penalties hurt us. We need to run better in the redzone. I think the biggest key to our OL is the center. We absolutely have to get ourselves a good (preferrably veteran) center next year.
