With all the BS associated with the offseason, I am wondering what you are?

defense or offense?

I am all defense all the time, too many advantages to being an offensive man, defense thinks on its feet, read and react, that's my game.

defense>offense any day of the week

i just enjoy the game and the overall chess match. a great long TD catch or 99 yard dorsett run is fantastic, but so is an INT for a TD or a big hit that causes a fumble.

Running and defense. There is nothing better than smashmouth football.

If I had my choice I'd be torn between playing QB or MLB for the Cowboys. I'm very happy with Romo's overall performance and how he slides the blitz and I remain optimistic and enthusiastic that Zach Attack will solidify our middle.

Aside from that I would love to play NT or SS. I guess I'm more of a defense type of guy...:starspin

Defense... I was a linebacker back in the day (a small one who hit REAL hard)... Hitting a guy and ruining a running backs day by stuffing him behind the line of scrimage was what I was all about. It was too much fun.

I do get giddy when I see how amazing tony's pocket awareness is, I can't throw the ball 40 yards and they don't let guys my size play QB so I might just be biased. Romo's pocket awareness is the single most amazing thing about him, he just feels them.

Depends. I like a blitzing, aggressive scheme. If you're going to lay back in a Cover 2 all day long, I'd rather look at offense. That being said, passing offense statistics have the highest correlations to winning in the NFL along with points scored. Defense does win championships, but offense usually gets a team to the playoffs to begin with.

And of course his amazing escape during the Rams game certainly underlined his amazing overall field awareness (even when the pocket closes up and he's by himself).

Defense.

I like to hit, not be hit.

That didn't help Adam Archuleta

I can't find the pic of where Archuleta got layed out by Crayton I believe. (Austin maybe?)

LOL, yeah right after I posted that, I ran over to YouTube and watched it again for the 4000th time... It just never gets old (kinda like Barber's great escape against the Patriots... God I love this team).

Honestly.... I like pure and utter domination. When we were on in the 90's. Things just seemed right.

We won at ease for the most part.

On offense - I love EASY TD's where the other team just wonders "how did that happen"

On defense - I love when they sack the QB and I love when we start picking off passes and taking them to the house.

None of this close game nonsense for me. I want to DESTROY, DOMINATE! :D

My name isn't Adam, nor are my favorite Cowboys defenders. :p:

I think that THAT has been disproven.... or atleast not as bias as some believe.

The best defense has always been a good offense. Montana, Bradshaw, Aikman, Starr, Elway, Brady all the great dynasties had a great offense [even the plug and play offense(QB) of the great Commander teams]. All the great defenses were one hit wonders (Bears, Ravens)

This little discussion reminds me of the time when I was watching a Mavs game and the announcer said"

"You don't win basketball games by out scoring your opponents"

If that wasn't the dumbest thing I ever heard I don't know what was.
