What NFCE Team can Best Defend Against TO!? ...

Uncertain if there are any Giant fans here, but I know there are Skins fans here. My question is primarily to those opponent fans; however, I'm sure all will give there 2-cents.

That said, and speaking from an Eagles fan perspective, we'll probably defend against TO by disguising our blitz packages and going after Bledsoe with "extreme predjudice." The Eagles have acquired some help in this department ...

These Eagle defensive ends will apply intensive pressure to reduce/minimize opportunities for Bledsoe to make completions. In all fairness, uncertain if CBs Brown or Sheppard have the skills needed to cover TO; even though they have played up close to TO for a least a season. From an Eagles fan perspective, I'm sure that TO will get his touches. Having TO as a former Eagle, we know the threat that TO is ...however, Roy Williams also showed us that TO is ..defendable. But the most importatnt anti-threat the Eagles have is Brian Dawkins!

What other NFCE teams do you think will be able to "reduce" the TO threat opportunity?

The Skins haven't done that great. Have they ever beaten the team TO was on(and actually active)?

To me 'defending on TO' doesn't count if you shift so much attention to him that the rest of the team has career days.

Interesting ...although I don't think the Eagles plan on doubling up on TO; we've been burned by Glenn before. I think the best strategy is an aggressive pass defense.

Still, curious to learn who (more specificity) will defend TO ...based on your strategy to double-team TO.

I'm sure Andy Reid Is probably best familiar with the TO threat. I wish a Giants fan would post a response ...I heard they placed some help on the line for Strahan.

I think they came in 3rd in the draft for DL players.

No one player in particular, but their scheme is a very good one. They get to the QB.

The 'skins had the best pass defense in the NFC East last season IIRC. The Giants were poorest.

i wouldnt be so sure about that, TO has never had more than 50 yards on the skins in the last 5 years in which he has played them( 3 games)

heavyhitta31,you know your stuff..folks think that you have to have 1 person who can really rush the passer,that is nice to have,but the Commanders scheme puts alot of guys in position to put pressure on the qb,thats why the D is so good...i thought folks realized that by now...heavyhitta31 you know game!!!
