I used the Aikman index to qualify our upcoming opponents along with the teams they played the previous week.

8 Eagles 11th offense 7th defense: Boys playing Eagles after bye nice for us
9 Browns 21st offense 31 defense : Browns play Jets before our game
10 Steelers 7th offense 13th defense : Steelers play Ravens week before our game
11 Ravens 25th offense 6th defense : Browns play Ravens on a Thursday 10 days later the boys
12 Skins 14th offense 20th defense : Packers play Skins, this is short week we play on Thursday four days after Ravens game
13 Vikes 18th offense 2nd defense : Lions play Vikes on Thursday, we play them one week later on Thursday we both have 7 days between games
14 Giants 17th offense 30th defense : Steelers play Giants week before and we play 10 days after Vikes game
15 Bucs 31th offense 23rd defense : Chargers playing bucs week before our game
16 Lions 8th offense 32 defense : Playing Bears week before our game
17 Eagles 11th offense 7th defense : Playing Giants week before our game

That Ravens, Skins, and Vikings stretch is brutal. IMO Tony cannot be ready for a short week just like last year he needs too much rest in between games to be fully functional and recovered. We get through this season with a playoff berth and we will be fully vetted to go far into the bracket.

That Vikes game will be brutal in their super-loud stadium. I'm rooting for them to beat the Eagles of course, but them taking a few losses this year would be a good thing, anything to keep them from getting home field advantage.

Ravens is the weakest of the 3 teams in that stretch. They aren't very good

I seldom look ahead in seasons, mostly because what is today can be something entirely different tomorrow.

An example would be the Eagles hosting the Vikings. The stats offered about their standings in offense and defense will change by the end of day. And they could change fairly drastically.

So, at the risk of being very wrong here, and humiliating myself for predictions. Not to mention jinxing the Cowboys, I am going to do a little projecting.

Eagles - Dallas gashes them for over 200 yards rushing and beats the Eagles by 13

Browns - Romo's return, the game is over at halftime.

Steelers - No RapesMySister, Dallas beats them by 10. Maybe 17.

Ravens - Dallas run game wears on them,, Dallas again wins by double digits.

Skins - tough game, Dallas ekes it out by 3.

Vikes - Dallas is 10-1 and loses for the second time this year. But no more than 3.

Giants - Dallas wins by 10.

Bucs - late surge by Bucs, but Dallas wins this in a game that scares all here.

Lions - Dallas loses this game, not because they aren't better, but because they are better than the Lions, but this stuff happens.

Eagles - The east is wrapped up, the seeding is still in play, but Dallas owns the second seed at this moment. The eagles have pride, but little else. Dallas wins this for a 13-3 season and a bye.

+++

Health is the key here. I am not saying Romo plays all the games after the Brown's game. Just saying this team, if healthy is the second best in the NFC.

One last prediction.

Dallas meets either the Seahawks or the Vikings in the NFC Championship.

To be continued...

Love this except losing to the Lions. But if this is how things pan out, I'll take that.

I see us maybe splitting Ravens / Steelers, but we're going to beat the holy S out of the Commanders.

There is a chance to start the season 10-1.

Ravens don't worry me.. Skins sure as heck don't worry me.

Dallas is playing for the 1 seed IMO.. Time to start cheering against Vikings, Falcons, Seahawks.

We have tough schedule. Only sorry team are the Browns. Eagles look tough. Giants are decent. Commanders pretty good. Vikes and steelers are tough.

Comes down to jan 1. If we beat Eagles, then that is almost a 2 game lead at midpoint.

I think this division could look a lot different in a month.

the giants 5 of their next 7 are at home, they don't play a road game until nov 27th.

if the eagles drop the next two to Dallas and NY it could put the division out of reach for them considering they have gb and seattle left.

That schedule looks pretty damn good now doesn't it. The NFC East games wI'll decide this division. Even the Giants can get hot. Nobody is safe in this division.
