Personally, if Garrett is retained, I’d fire Linehan and put Garrett back in charge of the offense. The last time he was the OC calling plays, we had the #2 rated offense in the NFL, and that was before finally rebuilding the OL. He’s been around long enough to do both...prove himself or be replaced soon after. If you’re going to fire a guy, at least give him a chance to do the thing he was good enough at that got him two head coaching offers before you promoted him.

I’d also fire Marinelli and bring in Ray Norton Jr or hire George Edwards away from the Vikings.

Then the front office needs to be active in FA if a player in a key position is available, along with having an effective draft that balances the front 7 on defense with skill players with big play ability on offense.

Zero.

Jerry is 75. He has a young team. He is not starting over with a new staff.

And if he did it will be a pushover who will let him do what he and Stephen want to do running every aspect.

I will say this, this staff should probably all be removed. Young team, a lot of cap space, a lot of draft picks. It’s the perfect opportunity to go bring in a new head coach and staff. This thing could be rebuilt over night with the right decisions. It’s really an extremely desirable job except for one element. The Jones family. Which is why we won’t get a change or a worthy one.

The fact he's 75 might mean he could consider this. He might realize he's wasting his last few years on this crap staff.

If the Jones family does not replace Garrett it's the largest mistake they have ever made.

It would trump any dumb move they have ever made.

I would seriously consider just not investing in them for 2018. Just not waste my Sunday's on them. I can't stomach the old drunk fool trying to tell me Garrett is a great coach and just had some bad luck with the injuries and Elliott getting suspended.

Garrett is going nowhere. They'll fire half the team and start over, but Garrett will be here.

The question should be about Linehan and Marinelli, because there is at least a chance

Garret has been the sacrificial lamb and taken the heat off JJ. Remember when the fans were calling for JJ's head. Even media outlets were talking about how he was losing the fan base. Now Garrett is getting that negative attention. Once again, JJ wins even when he loses.
