What percentage chance is it for Garrett to get fired?

Personally, if Garrett is retained, I’d fire Linehan and put Garrett back in charge of the offense. The last time he was the OC calling plays, we had the #2 rated offense in the NFL, and that was before finally rebuilding the OL. He’s been around long enough to do both...prove himself or be replaced soon after. If you’re going to fire a guy, at least give him a chance to do the thing he was good enough at that got him two head coaching offers before you promoted him.

I’d also fire Marinelli and bring in Ray Norton Jr or hire George Edwards away from the Vikings.

Then the front office needs to be active in FA if a player in a key position is available, along with having an effective draft that balances the front 7 on defense with skill players with big play ability on offense.
There are built in fall guys, it's just that Jason isn't one of them.

Garrett will not get fired.

Marinelli will retire or be scapegoated and we will make the zero move of promoting Matt Eberflus to DC. Fan boys and sheep will applaud the move, which amazes me. Do fans think Eberflus is throwing out amazing suggestions and Marinelli is ignoring him? Or, do you think he's pulling a Jason Garrett and will reveal his super secret playbook once he gets the job?

Either way.... wash, rinse, repeat. Meet you guys here next year same bat time, same bat channel.

I'd put it at least 50 percent right now. It will go up with each humiliating blow out. In 2015, at least we had chances to win games. This year we are just flat out getting blown out coming out of halftime.

There will be staff turnover during the off season, sacrificial lambs, as it were...but JG will coach out the remainder of his 5 year deal (year 3 next year). I just don't think Jerry has the gonads to make a HC change, defacto admission that he failed. He relinquishes the organization to his family in 3 years, and doubles his scotch supply, my guess.

Well, Wade got fired for way less, so.....I don’t know what to guess.
But Wade was a fat slob and I think Jerry grew to be embarrassed by him. Garrett is Princeton, youthful and fit. No comparison.
I do think jerry has a loyalty thing with JG.
That might change if we lose 4 more games.

This is the hardest part about being a fan of this team right now.

We are not going to fire Garrett.

Point blank.

Write it down.

And that is so terrifying.

That means we do this same ridiculous thing again next year.
