I'll critique this team when its necessary, but I am done getting angry over these losses. So what players individually do you feel played a good game tonight?

Offensively I was pleased with Beasley and Dunbar (dont know what happened to his usage as the game progressed). Beasley in particular just has a knack for making plays, I legitimately think a QB like Peyton would turn him into an 800-1000 yd receiver.

Defensively I thought Carter was decent, and I like that McClain has some nasty in his game. The defensive line was about as good as they could be.

Lets strip down to beaters and briefs and discuss.

Carter, McClain, Durant, Mincey, Crawford. The front 7 played well. The suckage was Carr/Claiborne and Romo. Supposed to be our strength. well, i guess it's to be expected since they didn't practice

I thought they did OK against the run. I didn't see much pass rush. Only sack was by a blitzing LB (Carter).

I agree that Carr/Claiborne looked like... well they looked like they looked last year.

McClain, but the dude could wake up tomorrow and not want to play anymore.

Romo not in a good way, looking 80 years old on down field throws and couldnt hit the broad side of a barn on the short ones.

McClain brings some physicality. Mincey is better than the street people we ran out there last yr.
as far as the secondary, hopefully when we play teams without a running qb we play more man coverage. Mo and Carr just flat out can't play zone.
Tony has a cpl of the games every yr. surely he won't be this bad all yr..... Surely. That's all I got

I'm not sure if I should feel encouraged or depressed that the best looking guy on D is someone who retired multiple times in his early 20s and was just acquired at the start of TC.

Fred and Leary looked sensational and Martin played like a possessed monster. Not a bad start.

Oline opened up some holes. Frederick and Martin did good moving the line.

Dunbar and Beasley need to be on the field more often together. These guys are good check down options. Williams had a couple of good catches.

Defense:

Dline was solid. Way to pitch a second half shut out. Our offense did y'all zero justice.

LBers impressed as well. Durant and McClain were in on plenty of tackles and Carter did good with his sack and pass deflection.

Secondary needs to take some risk and jump sone routes if they're going to play soft zone more often.

Harris just keeps making plays, whenever he is fortunate enough to get an opportunity.

Bruce Carter, because I thought his performance mightc range anywhere from Horrible to Very Good and we got the Very Good version.
