Just thought it would be interesting to see who you guys would like to see cut or released. Explain why for each player.

He is vastly over paid yes, but while he is making 90+ tackles in the season beating out the likes of Bradie James and Demarcus Ware in both solo and assisted we aren't going to find anyone to fill that gap too easily.
ALSO with the other holes we have slowly opening wider, why create another gap? I don't see the point in beating the dead equine every chance we get as well.
To summerize:
Roy = Overpaid, but stable. Not amazing, but not easily replaced.
So ...
I would say I'd like to give Ayodele a lesser role, and reducing T.Glenn's as well if he returns. Which means we will be trying out the young guys, as well as stirring up the bottom of our roster at RB, CB and WR. (T.T. being let go was a huge start)

Terry Glenn- Old, injuries enough said
Anthony Henry- Love him also but is injury prone and is slowly starting to show his age on the football field. With Roy williams as our safety we need fast corners. I would like to see us get 2 corners in the first round or at least the first 3 rounds.
Roy williams- Big cap hit but he doesnt produce and watkins is a solid ss who can cover better than roy which is what we need.

I can't look at the roster and honestly say there's anyone i want "cut".
The ONLY player i'd really like gone is Akin Ayodele but only in a trade.
After that, i wouldn't cry if Roy, Carp or Spears are gone by the end of the year.
McCordsville Cowboy;1988756 said:Akin is solid. Not sure why people want him gone. He is a solid run defender and decent in coverage. Hardly worth being cut or traded. And if he was traded... what would we get? A 5th if we are lucky and more realistically a 6th.
A solid 3-4 ILB is worth it unless he becomes a headache in the locker room with his PT being cut because Zach is now here. Depth there would be nice.
Well said regarding Roy.Fatty_VM;1988727 said:Wow .. will everyone stop with the roy *****ing? Please dear God make it end.
