What positions on this team needs the most attention this off season?

They can do things scheme wise to help with this. The Green Bay game was a perfect example, none of Dallas's OL really stopped Parsons, they just got the ball out super fast and away from him.
it's like they only prepare hard when they know it's a big matchup issue

A poll would be better, but let's try and rank them from needs the MOST attention to less attention

1. LB
2. Edge
3. RT
4. LT
5. Safety
6. CB

what is your list, going from needs the MOST attention to less attention (less attention doesn't mean it's not important, anything on this list needs attention) Please give your thoughts
CB
Edge
LB
S
RT
LT

This offensive line is good enough.

Dak was one of the least sacked Qbs that that played 17 games this season.

For perspective, MVP Drake Maye was sacked 47 times while Rayne Dakota was only sacked 31 this season.
And half or so of those were because he holds the pigskin too long.

1. DE. Ezeiruaku is a potential star but the Cowboys need a game changing pass rusher that commands constant attention. Maybe EZ gets there next year but they need more.

2. S. Both Hooker and Wilson had poor seasons and could be cut for cap space. Juanyeh Thomas is a potential answer but his migraine issues landed him on IR and might put his football future on hold.

3. CB. It's too soon to give up on Shavon Revel, but Bland is coming off a second foot surgery and there is practically zero depth. Caelon Carson becoming a reliable starter would help, but I would use one of the two 1sts on a corner.

4. LB. I still think Overshown is great and what we saw last year was just rust. But Dallas still needs another starting caliber LB. I don't trust Liufau and who knows if they will even bother bringing Logan Wilson back.

5. RT. It's time to say goodbye to Terence Steele. Nate Thomas looked better at LT than RT so the Cowboys could take a flier on an affordable veteran to serve as a stopgap starter until Thomas or even Ajani Cornelius is ready.

Great question, I think its really freaking close. At LB we have ONE legitimate player, who we can't yet rely on and maybe never will. The majority of us getting gutted on short routes and missing running lanes was because of awful LB play.

At DE we have EZE who needs to continue a trajectory to be any kind of answer for us. The only thing that makes DE seem less desperate is how good we are at DT, but make no mistake we need help badly.

Safety i struggle with because those guys were great a couple seasons ago. I dont know how much is scheme, age, talent....still id love to take Caleb Downs. A game changer at the position would be amazing.

To answer your question its a coin toss for DE or LB imo
don't know what team you were watching but our safeties were decent and that was all; you clearly do not recognize great because THEY WERE NOT

1&2 can solve a lot of problems. The Giants did it twice with their front 7. Can hide warts on the back end and takes pressure off the offense to have to score every possession
