Mine is Julian Peterson. Give NYG or Philly Arrington...who I think will be real good.

On the opposite end, I will be pissssssed if we overpay for a kicker. <vinateri>

Vinatieri, somebody is going to overpay for him, might as well be us.

I'd hate to over pay for an injured player, I keep remembering Kevin Smith.

Overpay for the Commanders, eh, Koren Robinson.

For the Cowboys, Witherspoon.

Vinatieri and well worth it I might add.

How many players are overpaid anyways.....?

Peyton Manning - a gazillion dollars to choke in playoffs
Donovan McNabb - a gazillion dollars to choke in playoffs
Mike VanderDrunk - millions to choke in playoffs

atleast Vinatieri is money and maybe, just maybe the difference in winning it all or not....

HOW MANY games did we lose last year because of a missed kick?? too many and that was with that pathetic excuse for an o-line and we still had many chances to win games... kicker didnt come through....

Pay Adam! Pay Adam! Pay Adam! Pay Adam! Pay Adam! Pay Adam! Pay Adam!

I would way overpay for Adam Vinatieri.

With him, we would have been playoff bound in 2005.

Last I heard is that Adam V is looking for over 2.5M guaranteed per year.

That a lot of coin for a kicker.

Give me an arena league or CFL guy with a leg and it will cost less than 1M per.

After losing alot of games because of poor kicking... I bet you Jerry gives up 2.5 per year with a 4 year deal.

Witherspoon would not be a good fit in Dallas, Parcells is looking for bigger linebackers...

As for Robinson to the Skins, I've read that they might be interested in working a deal with the Niners for RFA Brandon Lloyd... don't know how they could pull off such a trade, when the compensation for Lloyd would be a first round pick and the Skins don't currently have a first round pick, but I suppose that if the Niners were agreeable, there's no rule against working out some other kind of compensation package in a "sign and trade" deal...

I like Lloyd but he drops far too many crucial moment balls for my taste. Where has he been listed as first round tender ? I missed that one. No way is he worth a first rounder regardless.

I see a lot of Witherspoon and he is probably the best available LB on the market. Not like Dat was a big guy, but he had the motor and was a solid player. Witherspoon has the motor and the playmaker mentality.

Follow this link to a Washington Post article titled "Commanders Eyeing 49ers' Lloyd":

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/03/10/AR2006031000023.html

In that article, you'll read the following:

Lloyd, 24, has been unable to agree to a long-term deal with the 49ers and is free to negotiate with any team, but he received a one-year qualifying offer from San Francisco that would require a first-round draft pick as compensation should he sign elsewhere.

I see a lot of Witherspoon and he is probably the best available LB on the market. Not like Dat was a big guy, but he had the motor and was a solid player. Witherspoon has the motor and the playmaker mentality.

No, Dat wasn't big, but he WAS 240 pounds, some 10 pounds bigger than Witherspoon... he also wasn't a real good fit in Parcells' defense... Bill has been real clear that he wants to get bigger at LB...

Think about this-- of the 7 top linebackers on the current Cowboys depth chart, the smallest is 240 pounds (Kevin Burnett), the biggest is 275 pounds (Eric Ogbogu)... Witherspoon is 230... he's a fine talent, no question about it, but he's not particularly well-suited to the Cowboys' scheme...

Lloyd is no better than most teams #2. I cant imagine for an instant that the Commanders would seriously consider giving a #1 for him.

And comparatively do you think that Dat is/was a better player than Witherspoon ? In this case I am not so sure that size matters.

I respectfully disagree, and think he would fit rather nicely and be an instant impact player on the Cowboys D. With that said I would love to see him sign elsewhere.

I'm going to have to say Adam Vinatieri. After last years Kicking nightmare I think it's safe to say we need a KICKER BAD!.
