What really happened last night

You’re pointing at specifics ...I’m giving the overall cause. They played like Dallas....as in shooting themselves in the foot for losses. NE plays like NE.and finds ways to beat you.
I don't think the offense played like Dallas at all last night. We have the number one offense and we did nothing. So I don't agree with you again

What happened?

Dak didn't run the ball enough to extend drives in a defensive battle that was played on the road in the cold rain.

I have to disagree there a little. There were times he lost his poise and rushed his throws. Still, the lion's share goes to our pitiful special teams that gave them some shorter fields and us poor field position.

Gronk was right. We're weren't prepared to play in the poor conditions and looked like we'd rather be somewhere else. This could very well be a concern in Chicago and Philly. Good teams or bad, if we don't want to play in adverse conditions, we just won't.
And I put that entirely on coaching. Unprepared

I just don't know about the referees. I hate to believe in the propaganda. That third-down tripping on Freddy was disasters. Tyrone trippin that's how he moves his legs
ok..so on both those [hantom tripping calls we just converted big 3rd downs and was on New englands side and on the move to score. WE WIN THE BALL GAME if not for those things. We are having a much different debate right now if those flags are picked up.

I'm not going to put any blame on the weather. I put that entirely on coaching. What was that quote by Jimmy Johnson about cowards

Yeah I agree. Those were some big calls. Freddy actually tripped. I think Tyrone that's just the way he moves his feet

Blocked punt. Special teams coaching Tyrone Smith, tripping penalty. Missed field goal. Interception. Jason Witten let the ball go through his hands. More than once last night. Freddy tripping penalty. Can't have one mistake against the world champions. Never mind three or four.

Agreed. Essentially this is the game in a nutshell. Although you must include the questionable nature of both tripping calls, both killing drives.

It was an evenly played game otherwise. New England simply does not beat themselves.

Even Troy Aikman said those calls didn't happen lol..I really had to go out on a limb to justify that call on fredbeard. That's just how he moves as well..like Troy said..its him blocking lol..WE were battling the refs and the weather yesterday...and factor in our gutless coaching style.

I just don't like including the referees. They screw up mini games in my opinion. Come to think it's just part of the NFL. I love the game so I put up with the bull crap LOL

I hate to say it. Jimmy Johnson would never have a bunch of wimps. Worrying about the weather. Is coaching staff is sad from top to bottom

we lost this game 3 ways. THE REFS...we should have never put ourselves in this position to win in a close game..THATS COACHING....AND LASTLY...THE PATRIOTS PLAYED A SOLID GAME ON D.

I'm with you. I usually don't include officiating but sorry I can't let 2 questionable Tripping calls go. The last one was an absolute joke. God bless Aikman for having the guts to call it out and that clown Pereira on the air. To essentially end the game with that flag did nothing but rob NFL fans of a potentially thrilling finish regardless of winner.

BEEN READING how bad Amari was..lol..thats funny. He had 2 HUGE catches reversed due to phantom flags. We just converted third downs and were moving into position to score...MAYBE he would have scored too. I think people forget just how good he is and MAYBE also we need to praise NE more for playing well on D.

Dak looked horrible yesterday.

As I said to some here, I didn't expect to see him hang 300 and 3Td's, but 3 fg's total, really? , 1 scramble for 4 yards, C'mon Man

He should have watched Lamar Jackson's performance, the damn blueprint was drawn just 2 weeks ago
