Not that often if you look at the states in the final 2 min of the period. Most of the time Dallas has scored

Which team are you watching? Dallas has been very successful in the last 2 minutes of the half the last couple of years. I guess it is a case of the last thing you saw, which would have been the Ravens game when Dallas did not fair well before the end of the half. That was one of the rare occurrences of not being successful going into halftime. Even Brad Johnson has led the offense to a score just before the first half expired.

Exactly! This thread displays how perception and short sightedness (or mindedness) clutters the minds of fans and why we should always take the fanatical overreactions with a grain of salt.

As a matter of fact, like you stated, this is when Romo is at his best. Someone shoud do the statistical breakdown; I guarantee we would be right up there at the top of the league in terms of productivity in our 2 min offense. I remember way more times Romo takes us for the score when we show some urgency than the Pitt kind of games where he throws an int. Even the Ravens game, he took us on 2 or 3 long drives.

Went back last year and looked at the drives right before half time these stood out:
Week 2-Philly : Romo Int. .20 sec left
Week 5- Cincy: Romo Fumble 1.42 sec left
Week 7- Rams: Barber Fumble .55 sec left
Week 16- Bal : Romo Int. .43 sec left
Week 17- Philly: Romo Int. 1.13 sec. left

Hail Mary's are thrown with little or no time left on the clock. These drives ended with ample time left. Stop living life with blinders on and just call it like you see it.

None were Hail Mary's. Cincy got a field goal, Baltimore and Philly scored TD's.
Pacman also gave one away at Philly. Which led to Another FG.

Week 7- Rams: Barber Fumble .55 sec left - dallas gets sack to end half
Week 16- Bal : Romo Int. .43 sec left - Field goal for Baltimore we did not lose cause of 3 pts...

May the thread may apply to our D. We haven't stopped a team (worth a salt ) getting a score on us with their 2-min offense. Again this could be perception but I still can't get over the 47 sec TD by the NYG before halftime in the playoffs last season (or one before)

Did you read the original post? He claimed that these results were "what usually happened". They aren't. It happened three times.

How many times did WE score in the last two minutes of the half?
