I used to be like that. Then I grew out of it and became an engineer. I avoid the computer at home most of the time. The wife hates it too, so that gives a great big negative on using it anyhow. She uses it more at home that I do.

Don't take my statment as you have to hate using computers to become an engineer. It's just I've grown out of the will to live by them the way I did. One thing I can say is that if I didn't have that drive while I was younger, I wouldn't have the skills I have today.

It's kinda sad as I feel that I use it (computer and web) to avoid the need avoid human interaction.

I've got a home office with wireless. More often than not, I'm on my laptop in the living room w/the big TV. My home office only has a 13 inch TV.

I keep planning to get another TV to replace it, but since it's outlasted my 20inch that I have in another room (the picture tube is going out), I figure I'll keep it til it dies.

I use the laptop whenever the Cowboys play or when the wife takes the PC away from me. Only problem is my laptop can double as an oven so I don't use it that much during the summer.
