Wasn't Terry Glenn the last one to be involved with an off the field incident? He wasn't arrested, but he did get a citation or something.

Tell that to espn.

They do subtle things like an outside the lines piece on tuesday portaying the whole team as a group of thugs and constantly showing pictures of pacman, irvin and tank in a courthouse...Then of course throw in owens situps.

Then of course, kornheiser does another piece in the beginning of the game monday exactly like that, showing clips of irvin, tank and pacman in the courthouse.

No mention of all the charity work guys like spears, witten, ware, burnett do. Or mention of jerrys salvation army drive.

nope. If your espn the idea is to make as many people as possible hate the team and if they dont have a current reason, you just make one up or recycle old stuff.

61 guys on the team when you include the ps, 2 have had legal troubles and not as a member of this team. Yet we get these types of reports.

Watch a giants broadcast, they cant stop talking about how good bradshaw is and what a great utility player he is. I havent heard his 60 days in jail mentioned once.

Its fun.

I knew that.

PFT's Turd Watch noted at the end of last season there were only three teams without arrests, since then two of them have been arrested.

Anything can change, but it's good to know that even if one happened tomorrow, it would be one occurrence in approximately two years or so.

Yes... he was caught behind a 7-11 peeing on a dumpster/iggle trophy case...

Do you really need a link to know that no 'boys have been arrested in quite awhile?

You've got Glenn's citation and then maybe Goodrich? Tho I think he was released before that accident. Derek Ross was long gone before he decided to take up pharmaceutical sales.

I thought it was a least 4 years since a Cowboy got arrested. In some fan's eyes we will never live down the 90's.

I was hoping someone had an article or something to evidence it. I have a good friend that is a 49er fan and he was arguing with me about this a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to show him an article.

Well I know PFT has blogged about it when discussing their Turd Watch.

I think Spags has something in one of his articles. You should do a search for it.

Dallas does sign its fair share of guys that HAVE been arrested, which could be considered at least as bad. They do have a good track record in straightening them out though, knock on wood.

If ESPN wants to do some feature piece, I'd be interested in seeing something on how Dallas does indeed do that.
