There is going to be six teams all at about the same level and not a powerhouse. The one game that doesn't give me confidence is if we have to play IN Atlanta. They are our toughest match-up IMO.

Philly might end up being our second toughest opponent but who knows at this point, still pretty early.

We had a 2 touchdown lead on them last year with Weeden right? at least before Freeman had his "breakout game" and they came back to beat us.

Yea, we did but I did say if we play "in" Atlanta. They are a different animal at home, much like the Saints.

ADD: Today's game there not withstanding :)

Honestly, even though the Cardinals' offense wasn't moving the ball well tonight (SEA pass rush was very good and they're a divisional rival), I'd say they are one of the few teams that could both limit our offense and move the ball in chunks.
They're one of the most complete teams, than any, in this conference.

Offensive threats against our Defense:
- ATL
- ARI
- WAS
- GB

Defensive threats compared to our Offense:
- MIN
- ARI
- SEA
- PHI

The C-C-C-Combo-Breaker being:
- Chandler Chokanzaro vs. Dan "The Man" Bailey.

Championship Confirmed.

Arizona might be the worst match up for us in the entire NFC.

Surprised people don't see GB as a threat.

ARod is a shell of his former self, thus has caused a mega-distraction in GB, and McCarthy's coaching prowess is being questioned heavily. Lots of distractions abound in Green Bay. Nelson hasn't performed like he was pre-injury, and Lacy has gained back that 20-30 lbs he lost as he first showed up to training camp. Many speculate a drinking problem. Cobb is a very average #2 the past two years.

It is surmised, by many, that the 2011 SB was won by ARod's, then, elite talent, and very little on McCarthy's coaching. I'll be shocked if they're players this January.

We shall see, Doc.

I don't see it, personally.

IDK, I wouldn't be surprised to see them make some noise come post season. Rodgers was off when he played us but looked much better the following week against the Bears. Several QBs we have played this year have missed wide open targets which isn't a knock on our D because they are playing better than anyone expected. Give us a legit double digit sack guy and id feel a lot better.

I agree , Atlanta may give us the biggest challenge, if they are in the playoffs and we play them.

Other than that, I think Dallas may be the best team in NFC right now.
That is as long as we dont switch qb's.

We'll see. Min was exposed today. One or the other will win that division. Perhaps both go.

Win out in the NFC East. That will forge the strength for a play off push...and will handle the month of December as well.

Falcons, Eagles, Commanders, Seahawks, cardinals, and vikes are the toughest
I usually would add Carolina but they're having an off year but your list is spot on after our beat down of GB in Lambeau. I think it will come down to SEA/ARI bc one will likely snatch a WC spot. Same with the NFCE but we tend to beat it each other up over the year with NY showing up at times as we saw in week 1. This could be a NFC postseason overly represented by the NFC W and NFC E w ATL/MIN looking like leaders to win their divisions. MIN/PHI/ARI scare me matchup wise.

No team in this conference has both the defensive personnel to fight our all around offensive attack and the offensive fire power to really scare me.

The one team that matches up pretty well is the Giants, but I don't think they'll be in the playoffs if we get there.

Mainly just fresh history after the win where it felt we could have blown them out but allowed mistakes to muddle that opportunity in the second half.
They could turn it around as Rodgers is still a great QB, but not in that "untouchable" category anymore as Trouty stated above. I have no doubt his QB rating would still be insane if in NE (scheme). Lacy is out of shape but performing ok, and Nelson isn't a true #1. They have a bunch of good #2-3 style WRs, but no Dez, Julio, Beckham, Green, etc. Their front 7 needs work too; like we don't. :p But agree they shouldn't be ruled out this early bc there is talent on that team.

Clearly we are our own biggest threat.

Sorry to bring it up..

but this team has a history of choking under pressure.

I' m not convinced yet we don't have some wheels come off yet.

Our defense is going to have more and more pressure placed on it in the weeks ahead"

Will our weaknesses exposé us fatally.?

It's going to be the difference..

one way or another.

This team is nothing like our old teams. That's easy to see

That's a good question. I would probably say the Vikings. I don't think our defense is strong enough to completely shut down their offense and their defense should match up well against our offense.

The Eagles will be tough competition because they are a hated rival, but I think Washington and Detroit showed if you can run the ball and keep Wentz in the pocket, you can beat them.

I think the Falcons have the offense, but I don't think they have the defense and I could see us dominating the game and keeping the ball away from Matt Ryan.

Seattle has the defense and experience, but their offense is putrid and Marinelli seems to understand how to defend that type of offense fairly well.

Arizona's pass defense is great and could provide problems for us with Dak, but they did show weakness against the running game and I'm not impressed with Carson Palmer.

I just think that overall, Dallas is a tough matchup for a lot of teams because we can virtually run against anybody and score points quickly with our running game and that puts a lot of teams in a tough position.
