Actually Green Bay becomes a lot more of a threat of they find a legitimate back to run the ball. Lacy isn't legit. He is about like Witten is for us. You don't have to really fear him because he can't take it to the house because he isn't fast enough. If they had a guy like Elliott on that team the whole offense would be much more productive. I'm so glad they don't. With Lacey he can be open but the hole can close before he even gets there.

I think the skins can beat GB and the Vikes, those 2 teams have major problems right now.

The Dallas Cowboys are the biggest threat to the Cowboys. I think as long as this team continues to work and stay hungry they can beat anyone out there

The Falcons fold their tents every November. They've already started. The Seahawks look like pure garbage sometimes. The Vikings traded a first rounder for a fragile QB to put behind their horrible offensive line. The Giants, Commanders and Packers all have their issues.

This season is wide open for the taking. Cowboys are in a great spot.

Falcons and maybe Eagles.

Their first "real test" is Sunday.
This. If we beat the eagles in the same fashion as these other recent wins we have experienced, I think we'll make a very strong playoff run barring injuries. This game will be a very big test for our defense, Dak, coaching...etc. Our play calling has been superb and we need to stay aggressive to continue to keep other teams off balance. If our Oline dominates this game, we're in, because this is one of the best defenses we'll go against this year.

It's early, but once Seattle gets healthy, they'll be a handful.
The Vikings laid an egg this past week, but they're pretty good too
Philly and Washington will be tough games
Really, if Arizona gets healthy they may end up ok too. Right now? uh..no
Atlanta is decent.

Great year to make a run. Every thing is lined up so far.
Dak's mom must have put a good word in for him and us.:flagwave:

Exactly. The offensive scheme has been very close to perfect. Mixing it up. Having plays set up plays to be used later. It's been excellent.

What teams do you think are the biggest roadblocks to getting to the super bowl? Which are the worst match ups for us?
I think the Falcons are the toughest matchup for us, if we are thinking playoffs.

We can beat anyone, if we don't beat ourselves. The better the defenses get, the less margin for error we have. We will probably have to dominate games offensively when we play a team like Atlanta, or the Patriots (Super Bowl) because our defense is likely to break a little bit against a guy like Julio Jones.

They sure could be. The Cardinals seem to have been a bad match up for us in recent years. I do not want to see an NFC East opponent at all in the playoffs if we can avoid it.

Great Thread Verdict -

After this past weekend .....

I think Minnesota is going to fade down the stretch - one dimensional on offense and I don't see Bradford being able to carry the team against good competition on the road. That defense is good but an offense that cant run and doesn't score much can get a defense worn down late in games and over the season. Not really worried about them as much as some others.

Atlanta just lost and is now 4-3, however they have a veteran QB, a superstar at wr and a balance between run and pass. Their defense is not great but solid enough to keep them in most games. Still I think the cowboys can handle them if they don't have to play in Atlanta.

Seahawks and Arizona both play great defense but are lacking on the offensive side of the ball. Still, both of these teams I would consider a tough task to take on in the playoffs.

The Giants actually worry me a little too. If Eli gets on track, they could really move the ball through the air and they are solid enough on defense. Don't give up a lot of points.

I'm keeping an eye on Detroit as well. I would not be surprised if Detroit does just enough to win that division over both Green Bay and Minnesota.

Overall, I think the seahawks are still the biggest challenge. I'd like to revisit this topic in 4 weeks after the Thanksgiving game.

As ugly as it may have been, the 2 teams that played Sunday night are the toughest matchups for the Cowboys in the NFC.

Every week someone rises or falls a little.. I wouldn't put to much stock on anyone just yet.

Btw anyone from the NFC East can beat us and vice versa.. I'm mostly worried about the Giants to be frank. They always play us tough.

There's nothing but flawed teams this year.

Seattle isn't going to get healthy, because their weakness isn't health related. Their offensive line is putrid as a whole unit. They will likely only get worse because they will get more dinged up as teams beat on them. maybe if Wilson gets fully healthy and can manage to produce magic then maybe their offense won't be awful, but I wouldn't bet on that right now.

Arizona has RT problems and honestly its WRs outside of Fitz aren't very good currently. Palmer also seems like he can't throw the deep ball any more. Basically I'd say both teams the key to stopping their offense is the same, tackle well. They play a mostly short game keep them short by tackling well.

The Iggles have RT issues and WR issues as well as issues in their secondary.

The Falcons are a bad defense and an offense that basically runs through one player. Jones is going to eat, can you stop everyone else from putting up enough to win the game? Can they actually stop a competent offense from scoring on them?

The Vikings are the only team who rivals the Seahawks for the absolute awfulness of their OLine. They also the worst QB of the contending teams, outside of maybe the Iggles.

Our problem is that our pass rush is lacking. Also you could say we're short on a true MLB.

Our offense is too potent for the Hawks defense. We blow the Hawks out easily.
Let your words be true , my friend , after years of mediocrity, I want the boys to be dominant this year , just blow off anyone put in the front, like the eagles D this week and so on .

NYG are the Boys' sole loss this year. Strange to think about...
