King claims Phillips said the Patriots Super Bowls are tainted.

Wade denies this. He claims he said something about teams are questioning the validity. He did not say he did. King stands by his report.

Fran wasn't breaking a story he just asked Simms, if Simms had the gumption to ask him the question this week...Fran concluded that Wade most likely said it BUT OFF THE RECORD and King ran it...King and Fran are pals as they are two Lawng Island guys ...Fran gave King his first big exposure by having him on WFAN early in his career - not sure they're as tight these days.

I think it was an issue of word interpretation.

Wade is a pretty smart guy to have said something stupid, I would put wade's brain up against peter king's any day of the week and twice on sundays.

I dont know whether WP said it or not but even if he did, all he is saying is truth, Patsies are cheaters and they got away with paying some fines.

I wish the media would make up their minds.

Half of them say the Pats are outraged at what Wade allegedly said and are going to beat us worse because of it.

The other half say the Pats are absolutely nonchalant and don't see what the big deal is about this game.

Which is it? Are they going to put the extra mega dose of beatdown on us because they're furious, or are they going to casually walk in and dismiss us with no more effort than usual?
