What the NYG signing Harbaugh could mean to Cowboys

I’d say as of today, Dallas sits as the 3rd-best team in the division

The Giants now have a proven winner at head coach, and they have their ‘Big 3’ at offensive skill positions in Dart, Skattebo, and Nabers. They’ve also managed to discover a few other nice offensive options at receiver and TE.

And despite their issues, they nearly swept the Cowboys anyway this year.
They won 4 games, lol. Getting a little ahead of yourself.

Yes, they hired a coach that has won before. Guess what, so did we and look how that worked out.

This can’t be a good thing for the Cowboys. NY gaining a proven winner could only make it more difficult in our division.

We already had the insurgence of Wash last year when Daniels was healthy with Quinn taking over . Now another divisional rival appears to have leaped over us in coaching.

And why it’s going to be difficult when we are outmanned on the sidelines and in the booth. Couple that with NY appears to have found their QB like Washington did and Cowboys looking to be in rebuild mode to rebuild defense they could find themselves closer to bottom of division looking up.
Are the Gnats the wealthiest franchise on the planet? No? Then Jerry doesn't give a damn who they hire as their HC

Not to worry....Schoddy, Klayton and some former DB coach will put the meat to the rest of the East

I have the opposite view. Anything that makes divisional foes harder is good for the Cowboys because it either forces them to step up, or they'll get so embarrassed from multiple years of the division trashing them that it will affects profits and Jerry will be forced to make a change....which is good for the Cowboys.

Short term, yeah it sucks. Long term it might just be what Jerry needs. Embarrassment.

I don't see competition as wishing your opponent to not be strong. Don't you want a challenge?

That now makes all three divisional rivals with a HC that took a team to the Super Bowl against a 2nd year HC that couldn't get the Cowboys to the playoffs with a healthy Dak, a legit running game, and the best receiving duo in the NFL.

This is the same guy that couldn't bring the most dynamic QB in the NFL to the AFC Championship game.

To be fair.. we weren't winning anything with that horrendous D.

And all I'm saying is the future is not reassuring when every division rival has a HC that proved he can get a team into the Super Bowl.

The Cowboys could have the most talent and it wouldn't even matter considering the degree to which they are being outcoached and mismanaged.

It's tough to watch teams consistently get better, most likely not at the same time but someone in the division is going to climb and probably at the expense of the Cowboys.

Jerry probably thinks it's a great thing because Harbaugh being a known "name" coach will bring more publicity and better ratings to our games with them.

John Harbaugh gonna see straight away how bad the
organization really is. Just wait for it. John, this ain't Baltimore. Good luck dude. Dak says, hold my beer.

Embarrassment might bring change. But I d argue not from on the field futility but rather empty seats , declining viewership and revenue.

Just one game if 30-40,000 fans for example ( maybe more) would march outside with picket signs refusing to go in would be embarrassing bringing unwanted attention and disgrace to Jethro.

That’s what we need. Maybe a game where all fans refuse to tune in and attend. It’s up to the fans to bring the type of embarrassment and pain for the change truly needed.

We could start a fund to reimburse fans for the tickets. I’d be more than happy to contribute. I’d even join them outside the stadium.
