What the NYG signing Harbaugh could mean to Cowboys

Actually I think most would root for the least resistance.
Pillagers ransacking a village, perhaps. But a football game isn't a raid. You think a fighter enters a jiu-jitsu competition and wants every one of his opponents to instantly submit? Seems like a lot of wasted training, and by the way, watching it would be a major letdown, no?

Just one game if 30-40,000 fans for example ( maybe more) would march outside with picket signs refusing to go in would be embarrassing bringing unwanted attention and disgrace to Jethro.
I extremely doubt any gathering over 2,000 will ever assemble outside the stadium or The Star facilities in my opinion. Nothing has sparked that level of public disgruntlement over a three-decade stretch. That is an extremely long time for resentment to build and not produce outrage of that magnitude.

However, an organized gathering of 500 - 2,000 is easily doable. The crowd size would be large enough to attract the attention of local sports media, which national sports media would run with. And it would cause gameday commentators at the stadium and the network sports desk to follow-up in actual time.

It is a more realistic fan display that a narcissist like Jerry Jones would go into spin overdrive to make the issue disappear. His type of mentality would not take it well at all. And his anguish would only grow as long as he would be unable to corral and conceal the picket signs from cameras. Social media distribution alone would bother him to no end. There is nothing like taking control from a control freak.

I’m all about winning. Regardless who the opponent is.

It’s not like lesser competition in NFL would be disgraceful or place an asterisk by our victory.

It's simple. The Dallas Cowboys are the door mat of NFCE.

Before you say Washington know that owner Josh Harris does not fail at anything. He will see Quinn is a clown and make a move.

Of course . One that size would probably serve the purpose. Especially if it was a continuous effort .

maybe if thousands would wear bags that might help...
i think stephen would be on his COBRA HE-150 walkie talkie telling the security staff to start confiscating the bags, they are obstructing the view for good fans

No, but I think the best victories are hard-fought battles and winning those battles makes you better, which in turn makes winning done more handily.

It is only natural that Harbaugh will draw the cream of the crop of co-ordinators to serve under him and learn.
It's harder to build a staff to go to the NY teams. The coach, OC and DC get paid a lot of money, so they'll have no problem. But not so easy for the position coaches.

If you want to live anywhere near the stadium in a good neighborhood in NJ, how's 800k for a house sound? Not everybody has that. I doubt you find anything south of 600k in a nice area.

This can’t be a good thing for the Cowboys. NY gaining a proven winner could only make it more difficult in our division.

We already had the insurgence of Wash last year when Daniels was healthy with Quinn taking over . Now another divisional rival appears to have leaped over us in coaching.

And why it’s going to be difficult when we are outmanned on the sidelines and in the booth. Couple that with NY appears to have found their QB like Washington did and Cowboys looking to be in rebuild mode to rebuild defense they could find themselves closer to bottom of division looking up.
The Cowboys' dominance over the Giants will be coming to an end shortly. Doesn't mean they will dominate the Cowboys, but we've won like 14 of the last 16 games against them, haven't we?

But who knows, we'll certainly find out....

Time will tell..

I have the opposite view. Anything that makes divisional foes harder is good for the Cowboys because it either forces them to step up, or they'll get so embarrassed from multiple years of the division trashing them that it will affects profits and Jerry will be forced to make a change....which is good for the Cowboys.

Short term, yeah it sucks. Long term it might just be what Jerry needs. Embarrassment.
Jerry is never going to be embarrassed. He’s living his best life. I doubt he could be much happier than he is now.

It's going to be fun watching this 63 year old coach grow old as he tries to turn this bad team into a winner on a bad field. It's not going to be easy.

Extraordinarily expensive real estate. Beautiful area, though. And easy distance to travel into NYC…and go home again.
