I see what you did there. You left out the GM’s retreaded son.

Good that RF had that big increase in snaps vs cards. I would like it even better if it’s more than a game or two. Basically we already know what Tolbert is - a likely 4th WR. I think it’s possible Flournoy has a higher ceiling.Snap Counts in AZ game:
Flournoy 67%
Tolbert 10%
Carson 42% (zero on D prior to AZ game).
- i.e. They are moving him up the depth chart. He is already the 3rd CB based on.AZ game snap counts.
If our GM could stop pretending this is a good roster that would even be a big step in the right direction.
Flournoy had more snaps vs Denver than Tolbert or Turpin. Same in the AZ game.Good that RF had that big increase in snaps vs cards. I would like it even better if it’s more than a game or two. ThisYou don't put anyone in their place. Not even close. On here, you're the annoying little gnat that flies into eyes, ears, and mouth.
Of course. And to do that, sometimes you have to lose first. It should be about winning every single game. All of them.
For a loss.Best dtackle in decades making Cowboys debut.
LolFor a loss.
What does that even mean?Of course. And to do that, sometimes you have to lose first.
Invariably, the teams in the super bowl have some high draft picks that are key to getting to/winning the super bowl. There are a few rare exceptions, but mostly those exceptions consist of coaches like Bellychickens or a QB like Brady. Or getting lucky later in the draft. What does that even mean?
Pick 2 WilliamsInvariably, the teams in the super bowl have some high draft picks that are key to getting to/winning the super bowl. There are a few rare exceptions, but mostly those exceptions consist of coaches like Bellychickens or a QB like Brady. Or getting lucky later in the draft.
For instance, the Eagles don't win the super bowl last year w/o Jalen Carter, top 10 draft pick who would've been top 5(or 3) w/o his off field issues.
Key players that were instrumental in super bowl appearance:
Burrow: 1st pick in draft
Stafford: Top draft pick(1st, I think)
You have to got to acquire those top players, and then you have to surround them w/ talent. Picking 15-20 every season simply makes it a bit harder. Most teams need a reset to acquire some top talent. Sure, you can depend on luck, but the strategy of top draft picks is simply by far the best way to get there.
I'm actually excited for the first time in a long time w/ the Q acquisition. Now, if only Jerry is can be smart enough to fill in the other pieces. A top 10 draft pick could go a long way in doing so.
My opinion is that isn't much difference this year if you pick 10 or 20. They are better off winning games. If you are a coach or player it is about figuring out how to get the most out of what you have and win some games. Go out strong, regroup in the offseason, come back stronger
Yeah, that's just a platitude. It's rare for a team to be in the super bowl w/o some highly drafted players.Pick 2 Williams
Pick 3 Pickens
The top of the draft is not strong and every win brings confidence to the team going forward.
You are completely incorrect, there's a chasm of difference. You're not thinking straight, man, you are not only picking 10 spots higher in round 1 but also in every round. My opinion is that isn't much difference this year if you pick 10 or 20. They are better off winning games.
It does carry over when you have new coaches and players trying to build something. Also this current draft isn't that strong at the top.Yeah, that's just a platitude. It's rare for a team to be in the super bowl w/o some highly drafted players.
Confidence from wins is a silly BSPN thingie, it's what they proclaim to get clicks, nothing more. Confidence from wins doesn't carry over to the next season, that's a myth people like to repeat because they lack the fortitude to understand that losing can be better for the future.
No it doesn't. They discuss it all the time how a team gets some new players and a new start in the next season. Honestly, where do you get this from?It does carry over when you have new coaches and players trying to build something. Also this current draft isn't that strong at the top.
How are the 1st three players doing this year? EZ is doing better that they are and he went around 44.You are completely incorrect, there's a chasm of difference. You're not thinking straight, man, you are not only picking 10 spots higher in round 1 but also in every round.
That just reeks of desperation. W/ the 20th pick, there have been 9 players picked that are no longer available to you. Man, this isn't rocket science.
