What this win means

You are so wrong about this. Calling the team out for playing well below their talent level does not equal rooting for them to fail.

Every Cowboys fan on this board, no matter who they like or don’t like on this team or in the organization, wants to see the Cowboys win Super Bowl 54. To say otherwise is silly, @Rockport
Call me silly then.

Why does it seem this team ONLY gets fired up on "revenge" or "disrespect?"

It seems they don't rise to the challenge on any given game, but only if there's a motivating force.

Doesnt wash away anything from the 3 weeks. They played up to their ability for 1 game. This year has still been an embarrassment
This is what you call minimizing.

So they should be completely dominating good teams every week? Anything less and they are not playing up to their ability?

Try to enjoy the big win.

Exactly...………..LMAO at homers like the OP walking around with a chubby because we won a glorified practice game.

Lets see them do it again next week in Philly and then in the playoffs.
What about this game made it a glorified practice game? Serious question.

This win gave me back some confidence, which has been slowly eroding as the season progressed. This may have been our best showing this season so far for all three phases. Finally, a complete game all around. When we play like this, we look like the team we all thought we were coming in to the season. I don't know if we can sustain it or not but this game, this win, felt very nice indeed (maybe even some vindication for last year). Show me this kind of preparation, passion and execution next week. If we can win next week in similar fashion...

practice game?

they beat the ish out of a quality team who not even a year ago did the exact same thing to them in the playoffs. it was a good win

I understand the OP's point of view.

But the way this team has played for the last month, I have no problem with people doubting their ability to sustain this play because I am one of them.

Hopefully they can repeat this performance against the Eagles and this is not just the last gasp of a sinking couching staff.

We will see.

It’s always the few, that turned out to be eventually right. I still believe in this team. This just shows what we’re capable of. I’m just not sure why we don’t see you every week. I wouldn’t want to play the Cowboys. Come for the ride my cowboy family enjoy it

Every game we lost was because of a different player a different reason. It’s not like it’s the same thing over and over. We overcome those mistakes we are dangerous. Just like yesterday.

1. They haven’t given up on the coaches
2. Will give them confidence going forward that yes they can beat a team with a winning record.
3. Means Dak is a bad *** playing as well as he did with a broken finger. Players notice.
4. It will silence the quitters, losers or haters (whatever name you want to use) for at least until they watch Stephen A. Smith and then they’ll be back whining about something.

what this win means, is when the strategy is smart (feed Zeke early and often, and continue to pound on the other team and wear them down rather than go pass happy at the first sign of trouble) that this team can win games that didn't appear to be winnable.

Another SAS take. I knew they'd be spewing that nonsense as soon as his show started. By the way, they've been feeding Zeke early and often all year. It wasn't working in most games and they found them selves 10 or 14 points behind so had to throw to try and catch up.

Hmmm, I remember the Bills and the Bears games both being games where Zeke was going off early and we scored on our first drive.

What wasn't working about that?

You need to watch the rest of the games to find out I guess.

I guess. I’ll get to that later though, I’m still trying to figure out how Stephen a Smith is getting paid millions of dollars for his opinions, while you toil away for free in complete anonymity on this website

Even though you’re clearly an expert compared to everybody else

The rumor going around that Jason Garrett is a great coach when his back against the wall just isn't true. He is as inconsistent at that as he everything else he does. Look at the playoffs last year against the rams when he absolutely messed the bed. That was one of the biggest games he coached and a win would of gotten us to the NFC championship game and could of changed opinions on him as a coach and he failed miserably.

Garrett is good at giving speeches I will give him that, but they're only effective maybe once a season because he is only regurgitating the same old thing that he stole from Bob Stoops to motivate the team. He is good at showing emotion to the players and he is even better at manipulation, but as I said before, it only works once or twice a season so now it's up to the players to outplay the coaching for the remainder of the season and I'm afraid they're too soft overall to overcome.
