What this win shows....

Well, I guess the obvious is that we're 6-3.....

We beat an inspired team, on the road, playing like crap, with our head coach struggling internally.

We can win a game playing poorly. That's a decent sign.

What I don't like is how we're not putting a whole game together on a consistent basis.

I'm interested to see how we respond Sunday. Another letdown? Or will we put it together?

I'd sure hate to see us sour this win with a poor outing. Detroit's looking better, and they always seem to give us fits.

Im more interested in seeing how they play on the road in 3 weeks. Dallas has played well at home all year but they are going to have to get it together on the road down the stretch.

Agreed on every point...especially the "We can win a game playing poorly. That's a decent sign."

I think the win also shows that we better pay alot of attention to upgrading the O-Line.

Geezlouise what a lousy performance.

Hopefully this performance gives the team some much needed passion going into next week

They won't hang their heads anymore knowing they can win at any time

Look what it did for the Commanders, who've played with so much more confidence since they beat us

Juke, you are so right. The only thing to add is that our DL didn't look all that great either (and that's after a big upgrade)!

Yeah, that does sound kind of stupid.........What was I thinking?

Anyway, think about it. Good teams overcome their own crappy play. We fought ourselves vs the Niners and now vs the Eagles......yet, we can overcome that.

In the past, we'd have lost 30-7 after the Bledsoe INT.

Yep..this game came down to line play....and ours, on both sides, was awful.

But hey, it's a "W"... :D

I was being serious.....I think that is very important.

We need to be able to win when we play poorly.

Bottom line when our game is off we struggle and either win a close game or lose one. When we are on we can run with anybody and blow teams out. We need to stay focused and protect Drew or we will be playing these style of games every week.

Sorry, I read your first reply wrong.......I thought you said, "Agree with everything EXCEPT the........."

My bad.....But what I posted did sound kind of stupid. Good teams don't usually play poorly.

Another good sign.......we're one of the few teams in the NFL that hasn't had a double digit loss this year. We are keepin em close.

Upgrade the OL coach, too. It is amazing how OLs can be turned around in one year when the right coach comes in.

Don't let the improbably W fool any one. The poor play on both lines will get picked up by every coach out there. The rest of the season just got much harder.

Wow......good point.....

I think Parcells will address the issue....expect to see us force the issue with the run game and max protect. Key and Glenn must be able to beat double teams.

This game just reminded me way too much of the Oakland game. Of course, tonight the team pulled through. There's something to be said about being battle-tested, I guess.

...about slapping ourselves on the backs here!

What this game proves is that McNabb is unable to carry a team on his back all by himself this season.

The Eagles are not focused on playing percentage ball as Parcells is want to remind us through the media.

Our team is still a work in progress. We have difficulty containing QBs who can move.

Bledsoe is woefully inept when he is intensely pressured to move.

Our kicker is scary short, and seeing the responses on this forum about Akers attempted kick we need a real threat to win the game from 50 yards and out.

Witten has to pull his socks up and find ways to be Bledsoe's safety valve or we won't get very far. The game plan is already there to beat the Cowboys - contain the run and take away Glenn. Bledsoe will hold onto the ball and immobile enough to make minimal pressure a problem for him.

Jones is still not the answer.

Parcells needs to kick some *** this upcoming week if we are going to get out of this three game stretch with a winning record.

The OL, I give them a High C, because they blocked when they needed to block.
On the Int, Lousaka Polite missed his block on Trotter, he went to block the guy coming from the outside. I know why he did that, Trotter delayed his blitz, so the guy coming from the outside was coming in first, but that was MB3's guy to block, or vice versa, Barber might have missed his block on Trotter. But regardless Bledsoe should have just took the sack instead of throwing the ball.
Unless that was suppose to be a screen, if so then Trotter timed his blitz, charge right.

The eagles played some inspired ball, that is why we could not run the ball.
Tucker gave up a sack, and his man beat him again, but for the most part he and Petitti held their men in check, Kearse did not have his name called but once or twice.
Most of the pressure was coming up the middle, mainly by Trotter.

I kept saying that we were going to win this game, when they got 20, I said to myself that we were going to win 21 to 20, and I saw our defense returning a turnover for a TD, in my mind.

I would just like to say that, we should go to the hurry up more often when our offense gets into that bogged down continuous 3 and out mode.
We need to do this to change the pace and get us out of that rut at times, to get everyone's blood pumping and it also puts defenses off balance

...had Sheppard, but didn't know where the ball was. He should have engaged him longer.

And who else is? Indy? Denver? Certainly not the gints or skins. When NY or Wash play bad they lose.
Don't underestimate the toughness of this team. Parcells finally has a team in his own image in Dallas.
I think the odds are better BP gets this team rolling at the right time than not. They will be playing consistently well in the run up to the playoffs.
