What three players need to be cut next?

Why are we anxious to cut more players? We don't have an unlimited amount of cap room and we don't have a first round pick, so replacing starters is not going to be easy. Let's just wait and see how the draft goes before we get all wet about cutting a bunch of guys.

Fair enough, but it doesn't explain you wanting to move him to a position he's even worse at.

You must have been on a shutdown for several years if you think Gurode would be more effective at OG. We tried that before and he didn't do too well. He is a pro-bowl Center who has some problems with the shotgun at times.

Cutting Flozell Adams would b a phenomenally bad idea unless w have someone that can step in and play LT right away. It is painfully obvious that that player is not currently on the roster.

You usually have intelligent things to say, what happened?

i apologize to you thumper.

thanks for the kind words though.

carpenter needs to go too....he's a 4-3 linebacker.

hamlin as well.

gurode needs to be moved to guard.

Wha?

Gurode has been a solid center, sure he needs to work on snaps, but he has been an awesome pass protector and run blocker at C.

Hamlin isn't going anywhere.
Flo just got a HUGE contract.
We're thin at ILB, Carpenter isn't going anywhere either(he sucks though).

Proctor needs to go.

Only one...Ellis.

The question on this is do we expect the league to suspend Anthony Spencer for his arrest? If that's the case then we need to hold on to Ellis for now.

As far as any others go, I don't think we need to weaken our depth any further right now than necessary. When we have players in place to replace Proctor, Carpenter, Adams, et al, then we can make a move. Since there are no bonuses due (that I'm aware of) to prompt their release, let's at least wait until we see what we have in training camp.

Bobby Carpenter
Corey Proctor
Ellis

** Any o-line backup other than Holland, Pat Walkins (sick of watching him get burned from being out of place or runned over if not freezing when trying to tackle. Don't care if he is only 500K)

Flo stays. Will play better this year. The guy is still a top 10 tackle.

The only problem I have with releasing or trading Flozell is their's nothing on this roster that can replace him right now.

If Jerry went and drafted a really good tackle or at least picked up a solid one in FA, I would then have to re-think my position.

Yeah I say stanback goes unless he really impresses at camp. Proctor- we already have Holland and unless he looks bad dump proctor after camp (useful as a camp body until then). Ellis- sadly we have to wait to see what is going on with Spencer but I would LOVE to dump his whiny butt and slumping production NOW. I say work Carpenter like a dog during camp and if he shows something keep him otherwise dump him. Watkins- yep.

Greg Ellis - whines when the wind blows. Cut him already.

Stanback - I would give him camp...if injured or not productive say goodbye...no more years off and getting paid.

Bobby Carpenter - time to step up or get out. Must be more than ST and situational player. Must be effective starter.

Flozell Adams - penalties are his middle name...tired of him killing drives. Dallas should fine him 100K for every penalty or mistake (he robbed the team on his last contract; just trying to get some back). Someone should be able to step up -- trade or cut if at all possible.

FA - Tank Johnson and Kevin Burnett should be gone, so I won't waste time.
