No, its not guaranteed. In fact they could relinquish the offer or cut him after he signs it and it doesnt hurt us. I suspect they qualified him just to hold onto him until after the draft, to see what options they can get then.

gurode needs to be moved to guard.

Gurode needs to stay at Center especially if we run the ball more. I would go w/ this line-up:
Flozell, Holland, Gurode, Davis, Colombo

The only player I would cut before camp is Ellis.

Apparently, many of you are led to believe that finding solid left tackles is easy. Apparently, many of you have forgotten our issues finding serviceable backups on the offensive line, even after spending numerous first day draft picks on them.....and you wan't to get rid of Adams?

I get as pissed as the next guy with Adams, but you just don't drop him without finding a suitable replacement FIRST. Depending on someone to "step up", is an enormous gamble with a 65 million dollar QB depending on it.



I'd give Stanback, Carpenter, Hurd, and most of the younger backup O-line (Free/McQuistan) one more camp to prove themselves.....if they don't show measurable improvement, then Peacy McSeeya.

...and I sure as hell would not offer Burnett a sizeable contract. Let him walk for the money he wants.

I can go along w/ that; ONE more camp and it's either all good or all over for these guys.....

This right here is what's wrong with the majority of our fan-base. We hate a guy like Crayton who does produce, although very little, but someone like Stanback who hasn't done squat get's a pass.

I hate any player that doesn't produce, and I love the players that do.
