I just don't want to see Garrett back for another year. Give me two losses and the better draft pick as opposed to the division and another year of Garrett any day. Don't get me wrong I Love to see my Cowboys win but good gosh do I dislike Garrett.

You are not alone..................I go to some other sites to check out what is going on there and you would be surprised by the number of fans that say the same thing. "I am not going to root against the team, but if losing gets rid of Garrett, I will not be too unhappy if we miss the playoffs".

I have to say I agree with this..........................I am not going to sit on my couch and root for the Skins, but if we lose that game I am not going to be very upset.

what or who made you a cowboy's fan?

I was born in Mission, Tx. Hometown of none other but Tom Landry. I've been a fan since I was wee small but I don't recall the SuperBowls so I don't count them. The pre Romo era was some of the worst QBing I've ever seen so I think people that bash Romo are crazy. I love him even with his warts. If he had a coach like Parcells I bet he and we would have much more success. Edit: I know Parcells coached him but I mean for longer time

We will be setup for what if only to prolong the agony, even if we win the next two games , we don't have any chance to play any kind of decent team with this defense . Scheme wise personnel wise ( Ware included ) this defense sucks, offense is ok but if asked to win the game by itself (like blowing the opposition away) romo and company can't do it , because lack consistency , too timid , pass happy , non risk taking blah blah can go on.

Moreover gives Jerry false hopes that he got a good thing going , only the injuries were the problem and allows him to keep the status quo.

So the question as fans we have to ask is which is better, I would vote for finishing our agonies , get Garrett fired ( Jerry steps aside - one can imagine :D ) and get some real football people to start building a decent base , like improving the def line and off line! getting a young QB to groom , investing in safeties and a coach who makes the players to play to their strengths.

Even if we struggle to win, I'm gonna have no confidence in this team going into a Week 17 pre-playoff game and then potentially the real playoffs. If that's the case, I'd rather just lose out and get a better draft pick. I have a feeling this team will get humiliated by any team above .500

I agree with you, but be prepared for an onslaught of people questioning whether you are a real fan. There are some on here that think this team has a legit shot to make a run if they get into the playoffs. lol

I will relax the rest of the day and not care about the Sunday night game outside of general interest in the NFL and playoff ramifications for the NFC North.

As much as I want garrett gone, as much as they piss me off, and as much as my confidence in them is shaken, as long as there is still a chance God can look down on his team and bestow upon them and their fans, a miracle, I will hope with every fiber, that the amazing can happen, and that i am fortunate enough to witness it.

what if we win against the eagles?

what will you do?

Juice up Brian Waters, Sean Lee, Mo Claiborne and Justin Durant so they can play the game.

Cause it's the only shot we'll even have a decimal point of a chance to attempt in winning a playoff game this season.

probably drive to the stadium and have a midnight prayer session to the sky mirror gods.

Win or lose, I will flip over to CBS and watch a game between two teams that have excellent head coaches...just so I can be reminded of what a well-coached team looks like
(Pats- Ravens)

drink some beer?

have a great week of holiday joy knowing we are still alive?

go outside and yell to your neighbors .."how bout them cowboys?"

turn off the choppy virus ridden first row you had to endure and watch the bears beat the eagles?

Sorry.

This team doesn't roll like that.

They lose and act like wallflowers at the first sign of a team that doesn't like them.

Wake up from my dream and turn the game on. Then watch the same Cowboys team I've been watching all year and expect a different outcome. Insanity!

Tough to say. I'd be glad as I can never find sorrow in a Cowboys defeat. I really hope it doesn't make Jerry feel justified in bringing back JG and this porous coaching staff.

I will wait for us to have a colossal meltdown vs. the Eagles in a winner takes all game for the division. We'll take the lead, meltdown and then Romo will throw a game-ending pick, giving more ammo to his detractors.
