brutal honesty...let's hope you witness something different.

for some strange reason this defense actually contained mccoy in our first meeting..

let's hope we get a second chance.

that was all sean lee, if he doesnt play he will run all over us

drink some beer?

have a great week of holiday joy knowing we are still alive?

go outside and yell to your neighbors .."how bout them cowboys?"

turn off the choppy virus ridden first row you had to endure and watch the bears beat the eagles?

Promptly prepare myself for the sickening torture that will be yet another season ending loss for the division for, let me see, the third year in a row now.

I hear you, bro'. It's been getting harder and harder to do so. But I'm going to give it a go, at least until (if) things get out of hand. I live just outside the Beltway (Alexandria); will hoist one or two in honor of my fellow VA Cowboys fans...

I may watch as well. Or at least DVR and watch later. Dunno.

But I don't think I'm alone in having had this strange partial conversion this season. I have been a fan for roughly 40 years. That N. Orleans loss caused something to almost snap inside of me. Pre-NO loss, the idea of willingly choosing to skip a Cowboys game had pretty much never occurred to me. Since then I've felt the complete freedom to consider these choices to be made.

I would celebrate the minor victory, but the dye has already been cast for this team... it is a crap team with a crap GM and it has not made any real progress in eons. Even the team's only saviour is showing the ill effects of playing for a crap franchise his whole career. So a win would be nice, but it's going to take a solid offensive performance in the final two games to lift my spirits,,, the defense is a lost cause, I expect nothing out of them, but good performances from Ware and Claiborne wouldn't be a bad thing,,,,

I will dance a jig because my Cowboys won then root for them to win next week. 6-0 in the NFC East would be nice and no one can argue that they don't deserve to be division champs after they won every division game.

If they lose tomorrow I will be disappointed, not because I think they're a great team but because the Commanders are even worse and there is no reason for losing this game - not even the defense. I will never apologize for wanting my Cowboys to win and I never ever root for a Cowboys loss. Ever.

In the event we're fortunate enough to beat the Commanders, I'll simply savor the win and look forward to playing the Eagles at our stadium a week later. If we can't beat the birds at our place, we definitely won't be deserving of participating in any playoff run anyway. May the best team(s) win. If, by chance, we're somehow fortunate enough to be one of 'em, then so be it.

1) I actually quit drinking this season.

2) Yes!!!

3) I live in the heart of Patriot country so....I think not until...We win the Super Bowl.

4) I switched to VipBox but still crappy but watchable and yes I will watch the Bears beat the Eagles.

I mean yes if you "make the playoffs anything can happen" but I just seriously doubt it. If it happens I'll be the happiest guy alive as I haven't seen a SB title (I'm 23) but it might be better for the long haul to lose the division

Yes, anything can happen as I am playing for my fantasy league championship this weekend with a 7-6 record and entered the playoffs on a 2 loss roll. I know it isn't the same but it goes to show what Parcells said anything can happen if you can just get into the tournament.

I'll never root against Dallas.

At times I hope they'd put some real bad seasons in a row.

Not for the hope of changes that will never happen in management.

But for the hope that these whiny fans we're burdened with will move along to other teams.

Beating the Commanders is always an event worthy of celebrating, so that's what we'll do here. Then, it's off to the store to buy the ingredients for a Christmas feast, after which we'll start doing some food prep and wrapping presents while rooting for the Bears to crush the Eagles.

I will continue asking myself the same question I have pondered since the last Giants game:

"How often has a team finished with a 5-1 division record and not make the playoffs?"

Hopefully, the team will go on a mini, two game winning streak and finally put the question to rest. Of course, the team's poor defense and choppy passing offense could easily re-manifest themselves tomorrow yet again. I could then start asking myself how much beer can I drink between tomorrow and the Monday following the Eagles game.

I was going to have a beer every time our defense forced a 3 and out but I don't want to deny myself a beverage that I enjoy on gameday.

I think that you have held on much longer than many others in this respect. There have been far too many meltdowns and other embarrassing losses in the past 20 years.
